JUDGEMENT BEGINS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

1 Peter 4:17
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Rev. William Marrion Branham
60 You know, the hour will soon arise when—when right among us will be…the Holy Spirit will
speak out like It did in Ananias and Sapphira. Remember, see, that hour is arriving. See? And we
are…Now, you just remember that, see, that God is going to dwell among His people.

THE MYSTERY OF DIVINE GUIDANCE
(Ministers’ meeting)
Dr. William Soto Santiago
Saturday, November 1, 1997
Santiago, Chile
[The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, page 368, paragraphs 399-402]:
“...And I said, ‘Well, why can’t I see Jesus?’
Said, ‘Well, now, He will—He will come someday. And He’ll come to you, first, and then you’ll
be judged.’ Said, ‘These people are your converts that you have led.’
And I said, ‘You mean, by being a leader, that I…that He’ll judge me?’” (He was surprised by
those words he was told, that he had to be judged. But that shouldn’t surprise you too.)
Brother Branham said: “‘You mean, by being a leader, that I…that He’ll judge me?’
Said, ‘Yes.’
And I said, ‘Does every leader have to be judged like that?’
Said, ‘Yes.’
I said, ‘What about Paul?’
He said, ‘He’ll have to be judged with his.’” (In other words, not only will the messenger be
judged, but his people too: he will have to be judged with his own).
…We have seen that there will be a judgment for all those who have been the messengers of each
stage, and they will be judged with the group of their age; and if they do well there, they will come
back to Earth in eternal bodies; if they don’t do well, then they will not come back. And if anyone
among the group of an age doesn’t do well, then the messenger can’t bring him over here. So,
notice what that judgment will be like for them.
And what will it be like for us, while we are here on Earth? Because judgment begins, where? At
the House of God. That is a judgment at the House of God for those of past ages and for us who
live here on Earth.
So, at the end of our work we will see—in that judgment He will make upon us—whether we will
enter or not. Therefore, everyone should be careful; because the Scripture says, Saint Paul says,
that every man’s work will be tried, and the fire will try it; and it says that the work of some will
be burned.1
So, you have to be conscious of this reality, and work in the Work of Christ with Love Divine and
with reverence, with respect and holiness in the Work of the Lord, aware that we are not working
1 1 Corinthians 3:13-154
for anyone here on Earth, but for God; and He expects the right behavior from all of us; that we
don’t get into trouble or look for trouble, but instead, that we work being faithful to Christ and to
His Work at the time in which we are given to live.
And we should always avoid doing things that will cause the Church of the Lord to stumble.
Never think as anyone may think: “If someone is going to stumble, let him stumble.” That is an
irresponsible attitude and thought, for which he will have to give an account to God.
We cannot be stumbling stones but blessings for all of God’s sons and daughters; always helping
each other in everything, and knowing that at the end of the road, at the end of our work, and at
the end of the Work of Christ at this Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, that part comes
along, where those who are in Paradise, the messengers and their group, will be judged, and so
will we, here on Earth.
This will happen before we enter; because once we are in the theophanic body and eternal physical
body, it will be the judgment to give out the rewards (in other words, it won’t be a judgment on
whether or not we will enter). But before we enter into the new body, something will be happening.
Because if those who are in Paradise, who are already there, and whom we know have their
theophanic bodies, will go through a judgment, the messenger and his group will go through a
judgment, Jesus Christ will judge each of them, how much more will we who are still here on Earth
working in His Work be judged!
And judgment begins where? At the House of God. And then the judgment of the Great Tribulation
will continue for the world.
So, before the Divine Judgment falls upon mankind in the Great Tribulation, know that the
messengers and their group will be judged; those who are in Paradise and us here on Earth too.
Therefore, let’s have everything in order, so that when that time comes we will have done the
Work that God has given us to do and we will give a good account before Christ.
Remember that He judges our heart. So no one will be able to tell Him: “But I did this because of
this and that.” He knows why we have done everything we have done in His Work. So, He won’t
need you to tell Him why you did it, because He sees it in your heart; and according to the intention
of your heart in everything you have done in your life here, and in your ministerial work, Christ
will judge you and me as well.
So we will all go through that stage. And the best advice I can give you is to be (what?) prepared.
And let’s work with Love Divine, always praying to our Lord and consecrating our lives to Christ,
and keeping our home in order, loving our wives, and treating them delicately, using the right
words when we speak to them, treating them well (as wives should be treated); and preventing
problems with our wives, with our families; because at the end of the road, Christ will call us to
judgment, and they say people don’t die in forewarned wars.5
So, don’t think you can jump around and do whatever you want, and then get away with it. That’s
not the way it is. He will call us to judgment at the end of the road, and there we will answer for
everything we have done.
It’s like in supermarkets, where anyone can say… anyone can go with his shopping cart and say:
“They aren’t looking at me, I’m going to take this,” (and he puts it in the shopping cart, and looks
around…) “They aren’t looking at me, I’m going to take this other thing,” he keeps putting things
in his shopping cart; and when he is going to leave, the cashier is there, for you to pay for
everything you took.
If you—because you had free moral agency, notice, you took some of everything that was there,
but in the end you have to go through the cash register, and there they will charge you every cent;
they won’t let one cent go unpaid.
Let’s say it’s ninety-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents; or ninety-nine dollars and one cent. You
have to look for the one cent and pay for that one cent, because the cashier isn’t going to have an
unbalanced cash register because you don’t have the one cent.
So notice that we have a responsibility before Christ. He is the One who will judge, and we are
going to be there, we are going to be there in that moment. And the thing is that this moment comes
before we are changed, as far as I have seen; because it also comes for those who are in Paradise
before they receive the eternal body.
So, if they have to go through that stage, we who are here will have to go through it even more in
order to have the change of body! So, be prepared for that moment.
My desire is that you all receive the new body; and that all your congregations, and all the people
in your congregations, receive the new body too; because I’m not working for people to stay here
without the new body afterwards. I’m working in the Work of Christ for that purpose: for the
transformation of our bodies; that is why Christ has sent me to you: to bring you the Word and to
give you all the Divine Counsel to be changed at this Last Day and go to the Marriage Supper of
the Lamb.
So, I’m on your side, so that you have the new body; but remember: do according to the Word,
follow the counsel of the Word of God. Don’t jump around and do whatever you want, and then
expect a new body. Stay faithful to Christ and His Word. And remember what God spoke through
His prophets and apostles, and through the messengers; that is also for our time.
So, stay faithful to Christ and turn away from everything that is unpleasant to God. And all the
things that are unpleasant to God are written there in the Bible. Secure your future well, secure
everything well, so that you all do well in that moment that will come.
Now, how is everything going to unfold? I don’t know. But I do know one thing, and it’s what
God said through our Brother Branham: that the days of Ananias and Sapphira will return. And if
that isn’t God’s judgment beginning at His House, then I don’t know what God’s judgment is.6
So, remember: the moment will come when that will be repeated on a greater scale. And everything
we saw there in the time of the apostles, Saint Peter and the other apostles, as well as Saint Paul,
that whole Divine Judgment that we have seen partially manifested in the time of the apostles and
of the seven angel-messengers, and in the time of Jesus, and the time of the Old Testament
prophets, all of that comes back at this end time. And it begins where? At the House of God.
Notice how the sons of Aaron also died by Divine Judgment. Where were they? In the House of
God.
So, we have to be alert so that it doesn’t take us by surprise and no one may be in the line of Divine
Judgment to receive the Divine Judgment. Instead, let’s have our shortcomings and sins washed
away in the Blood of Christ, and thus, [let’s be] justified and sanctified by Christ at this Last Day,
so that not even the remembrance of sin remains in us. And let’s walk according to His perfect
will.
Saint Paul says, “Let him who lied, lie no more,”2 and let him who did any other bad thing, do it
no more; and live righteous and holy lives before the Presence of the Lord. The moment will come
when there will no longer be an opportunity to wash away our shortcomings and sins; and then,
from that point on, God’s judgment awaits everyone.
So be alert, because that will happen at any moment.
When the Lamb leaves the Throne of Intercession there will no longer be an opportunity to say,
“Lord, forgive me for this or that.” There is no longer an opportunity. From that point on each
person wil

A DREAM OF THE MISSIONARY MIGUEL BERMÚDEZ MARÍN

I told the ministers, and I remember of a dream that I had one time, that I saw William with a whip; whipping all the ministers, and I was coming looking for a message and now for sure it was late, I wanted to hear the message which I had, this message, that he preached, that I wrote it down on this paper, which you must have it here, and I’m continuing to look for a message of the prophet, I couldn't find it, and it was a message that people had to hear; And to top it off I didn't have it, and I was looking for that message and in while in that, well then, uh, I went out looking for it inside the car, looking for a relative to see if he had it, and when I got to the place where William was (having a meeting), he went up there with a whip, whipping all the ... eh, he was not whipping the congregation, but it was with the pastors, "Wuaaaasss," with that whip, those whips they use to hit the animals, that's how William came there, then I said : "But hey, what happened here? What's going on? Why is William doing this? And I'm going to ask William what is happening" Then when I came close in order to ask him: "Wuaaaasss," the answer he gave me was that whip as well, "Wuaaaasss," my God, what's going on here? [Bermúdez laughs], I said: "William, what's going on? Why are you doing this?" It was my turn there too, and then I didn't ask him anymore;

I then met a pastor who was upset because he had been given [whips], and he said: "But how are these people going to get to the flock if what they give them is whips”, and when it happened to me, I was looking for someone to explain to me what had happened to William and I went inside and then I found Julio Cruz. Ooh! Then Julio spoke about it in Cayey when I travelled to Cayey, I asked Julio: “Julio, what happened here?” Then, "Look Miguel, I don't know, I don't know, William was suddenly preaching right there in the pulpit and he grabbed a whip and started hitting around the pulpit; on this side, on the other, from below, on top, all around hitting the pulpit, and he comes down with that whip in his hand ", and Julio says to me: "Well, I'll leave!". "Julio, What's going on? "And I felt the thing, "Wuaaaasss," he whipped me and I, well, What is this? Listen “he, he” And he remained there, and there like a chain and there it happened like to say, like there in Cayey and there it happened to he came to give the testimony...

And in that moment I was arriving; he invites us and William was seated, and he was the only one who stood up and said: "Well, may this dream serve as an alert for Miguel and may it not be fulfilled"; I said: "Amen, so be it", hehe, I realized, that it serves as an alert ... I said: "Oh my God, let it be so that it is not fulfilled"; But that I remember at that moment what had come down and began to speak in this message, he did not put a topic on it, but began to speak of judgment and more judgment and said: "This begins in the house, it begins in the house of God, it begins with us, therefore we cannot walk with tricks or lies regarding the Word, regarding the message, regarding our steps in the things of God ", he is speaking then, in…., we know that we are in a world that is full of evil, and We know that we are in a world full of so many unbelievers.
