And just as it was back then, that is how it will be at this end time. That is why we are not afraid of earthquakes, nor tidal waves, nor storms, nor wars: because we know that at this end time, a stage will come where the Earth will be travailing in birth pains to the extent that earthquakes will take place… they are taking place in different places. In an earthquake, sometimes one person dies or no one dies, or a hundred, or a thousand, or five thousand, or ten thousand, and even twenty thousand people or more; but it’s because the Earth is travailing in pain, and it is travailing in pain to give birth to a new Earth for the Millennial Kingdom.
And for the resurrection of the dead in Christ, you know something? There will be a great earthquake.

But it will be a time of great confusion for the world, it will be a time of great confusion for the foolish virgins too, it will be a time of great confusion for all nations; and it will be a very sad time for many nations, some of which (due to that earthquake) will lose part of their territory, and some nations may also disappear.
But for God’s elect there is no reason to fear, to be afraid, because that earthquake will be the earthquake for the resurrection of the dead in Christ and for us to be changed at the Last Day.
Now, before that earthquake, there may be other
earthquakes in different places. And in any other earthquake besides that one, we ask Christ to have mercy on Puerto Rico and its inhabitants, and not to allow Puerto Rico to be struck by an earthquake before that earthquake.

Now, the world will fear, they will be afraid of the things that are to come, for that is what our beloved Lord Jesus Christ prophesied in Saint Luke, chapter 21, verse 25 and on, where it says:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then
look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
And when he speaks to us about these things, Saint
Paul also tells us the same thing, regarding what will happen,
in Hebrews chapter 12, where he tells us in verse 25 and on:
“See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they
escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more
shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh
from heaven:
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath
promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only,
but also heaven.
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be
moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
For our God is a consuming fire.”
That shaking that is coming upon the Earth is the same thing that Rev. William Branham saw in one of the seven visions, and it’s the one that pertains to the seventh thing he saw in that vision of those seven great events that would take place on this Earth. He says on page 322 of the Book An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages:
“The last and seventh vision was wherein I heard a most terrible explosion. As I turned to look I saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America.” And later on, he says [page 323]:
“What is left? Nothing except Hebrews 12:26,” (which is what I read to you, where it says): “‘Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.’ Once more God will shake the earth and with it shake everything loose that can be shaken. Then He will renovate it. Just last March, 1964, that Good Friday earthquake of Alaska shook the whole world though it did not unbalance it. But God was warning by a world tremor what He will soon do on a greater scale. He is going to blast and rock this sin-cursed world, my brother, my sister, and there is only one place that can stand that shock, and that is in the fold of the Lord Jesus.” And since we are in His Fold, in our age (that pertains to us): the Age of the Cornerstone, in the mystical Body of Christ, we don’t need to have any fear.
Now, let’s keep our heart and our mind and our whole being in Christ, serving Him all the days of our lives.

And if a tremor or earthquake takes place at some point, don’t be afraid. If it’s the earthquake of the resurrection, know that the transformation of your body is just around the corner. If it’s the earthquake of the resurrection of
the dead, well, then expect those who will be raised to visit you so that you may be changed; and if it’s not the earthquake of the resurrection, well, then it’s one of the birth pains before the great earthquake.

Now notice, how many want the dead in Christ to rise and us who are alive to be changed? We all do. Well, for that to happen, Rev. William Branham says there will be an earthquake. So, we cannot be afraid of earthquakes, or tidal waves, rather, we must take care of ourselves as much as we can. If we know there will be a tidal wave, then we try not to live by the shore, by the sea, because if an earthquake takes place while we are sleeping, there is no way to escape it. We must be cautious in what we can.
But if you are not concerned about the tidal wave taking you away because you know that you will go to
Paradise and return in the new body, well, then you also have no problem if you live in front of the sea; that is up to the person. But if he and his family want to avoid having that kind of problem and to continue working in the Work of Christ, then he does what he knows he must do to avoid those kinds of problems.
