THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S
MASTERPIECE
Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, June 14, 1998
Cayey, Puerto Rico
Good morning beloved friends and brethren present and television viewers. it is for me a great priviledge to be with you
on this occasion to share a few moments of fellowship with
you around God’s Program through His prophetic Word
pertaining to this end time.
To all those who are visiting from other nations,
ministers and other brethren: Welcome, I want to welcome
you; and may God bless you greatly, and may He allow you,
and all of us, to understand God’s Program contained in His
Word for this end time.
For this reason, on this occasion I want to read two
very important Biblical passages, which are found in Saint
Matthew chapter 17, verse 1 to 7, and Romans chapter 8, verse
14 and on, where it says… First let’s read in Saint Matthew
chapter 17, verse 1 and on. It says:
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and
John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain
apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did
shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and
Elias talking with him.4 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is
good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three
tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for
Elias.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud
overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud,
which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased; hear ye him.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face,
and were sore afraid.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and
be not afraid.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no
man, save Jesus only.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus
charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son
of man be risen again from the dead.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the
scribes that Elias must first come?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly
shall first come, and restore all things.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and
they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they
listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them
of John the Baptist.”
And we turn to Romans chapter 8, verse 14 and on,
where it says:
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are
the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to
fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that weTHE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 5
are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and jointheirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may
be also glorified together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are
not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for
the manifestation of the sons of God.
For the creature was made subject to vanity, not
willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in
hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from
the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and
travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of
our body.
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not
hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with
patience wait for it.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we
know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit
itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot
be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the
mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the
saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called according to6 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also
called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom
he justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for
us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up
for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all
things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It
is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea
rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of
God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day
long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be
able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us
to understand It.
Our subject for this occasion is: “THE SEVENTH
SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE.”THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 7
When it talks about the Seventh Seal in Revelation
chapter 8, verse 1, it shows us that It is something so
important, and It contains such a great mystery that Its opening
in Heaven caused silence for about half an hour. Revelation
chapter 8, verse 1 and on, says:
“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was
silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God;
and to them were given seven trumpets.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having
a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense,
that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the
golden altar which was before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, which came with the
prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the
angel’s hand.
And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of
the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and
thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.”
Now, we can see here that this Seventh Seal, contained
in the seven-sealed Book, which appears in Revelation chapter
5, for this is the Lamb’s Book of Life… And now, notice, in
Revelation chapter 5, referring to this Book, it says:
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the
throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with
seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud
voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals
thereof?
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the
earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to
open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold,8 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath
prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals
thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of
the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as
it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which
are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of
him that sat upon the throne.
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and
four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having
every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which
are the prayers of saints.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to
take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast
slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every
kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and
we shall reign on the earth.
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels
round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the
number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands;
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was
slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength,
and honour, and glory, and blessing.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the
earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all
that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and
glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and
unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and
twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for
ever and ever.”THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 9
Now, notice how this Book of Seven Seals is so
important that when no man was found worthy to take that
Book and to open those Seals, John wept much. Why?
Because, as the Book of Redemption, which contains the
names of all those who would be redeemed by the Lamb of
God, if that Book was not opened after Christ carried out that
Work of Intercession, then all of creation would be lost.
Now notice, just like God commanded Moses the
construction of a temple here on Earth, God has a Temple in
Heaven. And that is why Moses was given a pattern on the
mountain, where Moses was in another dimension; because
when Moses was speaking there with God, he was in another
dimension, in a Divine Dimension, where the Scripture
says—Saint Paul says that the Law was given to Moses and to
the Hebrew people by the commission of angels;1 in other
words, Mount Sinai was wrapped in a heavenly dimension, a
Divine Dimension: God was there and a great manifestation
from God was there, and angels of God were present there.
And now, we can see that what happened there on
Mount Sinai was no small thing, rather, it was something so
great that the earth quaked; and the Hebrew people were
trembling there; and not only the Hebrew people, but also the
messenger of God, the Prophet Moses.
Saint Paul says that even the Prophet Moses was fearful
and trembling. Let’s see where he speaks to us about the
Prophet Moses on Mount Sinai… Here he talks to us about
what was happening on that mountain, he says—in chapter 12
of Hebrews, verse 18 and on, he says:
“For ye are not come unto the mount that might be
touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and
darkness, and tempest…”
Look at how that mountain was; in other words, it
wasn’t something calm, it was something terrible because the
1 Galatians 3:19; Acts 7:5310 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Presence of God was there. It says:
“...And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words;
which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not
be spoken to them any more:
(For they could not endure that which was
commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it
shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I
exceedingly fear and quake:)”
And if the messenger was like that, how must the
people have been?
Now, the people were in such a condition there, seeing
what was happening on the mountain, that they asked Moses
for God not to speak to the people that way anymore, but
instead, for Him to speak to Moses and Moses to speak to the
people. And God said to him: “They have well spoken.”
Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 15 and on, says:
“The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet
from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him
ye shall hearken…”
Moses is saying this to the people because that is what
God made known to him.
And now, who are the people of God (both the Hebrew
people and the Gentile Church), who are the Gentile Church
and the Hebrew people called to hear? The prophet that God
sends them. And now, here, see why:
“...According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy
God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not
hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see
this great fire any more, that I die not,” (the Hebrew people
were trembling there).
“And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken
that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among theirTHE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 11
brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth…”
Where does God put His words? In the mouth of the
prophet that He sends; and thanks to that, we have the Bible,
which has come through God’s manifestation in His prophets
of both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
And now, we have seen where God puts His Word.
Therefore, every person, every child of God, has always
wanted to hear the Voice of God; and now, through the
prophet that God sends for each age or for each dispensation,
the people of God hear the Voice of God.
When God sent His prophets to His people, Israel, the
Word of God was in the mouth of God’s prophets; and that is
why God was angry with the Hebrew people on the different
occasions that God sent them His prophets and the Hebrew
people rejected them.
God testified of this through the Prophet Zechariah.
Let’s see where Zechariah tells us about this. Chapter 7, verse
11 and on, says:
“But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the
shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest
they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of
hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore
came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”
Now notice how the Word of God came: it says that It
came by the prophets who were sent; and that was not the
voice of a man, but the Voice of God through His Holy Spirit
manifested through His prophets who were sent.
And now, let’s get to the part we were reading
[Deuteronomy]:
“...And will put my words in his mouth…”
Every person who wants to hear the Word of God for
the age and dispensation in which he lives will have to
understand that, for each age and for each dispensation, God12 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
has a messenger, a prophet who is sent; and in the mouth and
heart of that prophet, He puts His Word, He puts His Holy
Spirit; and through that prophet, the Holy Spirit speaks to His
people, He brings the Word for the people. Because “Man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God,”2 and God’s prophets are
the mouth of God, because He puts His Word in the mouth of
that prophet.
And now, what is a prophet? A prophet is a man sent
by God with a Message for the people, for that age or
dispensation in which he is sent; but a prophet is not only that.
A prophet is a man with both consciouses together: with the
conscious and the subconscious together, which ordinary
human beings do not have; because every ordinary human
being has both consciouses, but separate from one another,
but when God sends a prophet for an age or a dispensation, He
sends him with both consciouses together; and that is why
even when they are awake, they can see in other dimensions
and they can hear the Voice of God, even though the people
around them are not seeing anything and not hearing anything.
That is how a prophet is designed by God.
That is why you can see through the Old Testament
how the prophets could even see God sitting on His Throne.3
And anyone may say, “How can I do that too, and see Him?”
Not even by using the most powerful telescope that the human
race currently has could a human being see God on His
Throne; and yet, a simple man, who sometimes had not even
gone to a seminary or a religious institution to obtain a
doctorate in theology, could see God on His Throne, or could
see God walking in the midst of the Hebrew people. And how
is that possible? Through the Scripture we have many cases
where many people saw God walking in the midst of the
2 Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3
3 Isaiah 6:1; Ezekiel 1:26THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 13
Hebrew people. But let’s finish here. It says:
“...And will put my words in his mouth; and he shall
speak unto them all that I shall command him.”
In other words, everything God commands for an age
or for a dispensation is put in the heart and in the mouth of that
messenger, and he speaks everything God commands for the
people of that time.
“...And he shall speak unto them all that I shall
command him.”
Now, there are always people who say: “No, I want to
hear God directly.” Well look, God said that He would send a
prophet, and He would put His Word in the mouth of that
prophet. And for those who did not want to hear that prophet,
what happened in the past? It says that a great wrath from God
came upon those people.
And now, what does it say here? Since every person
has free moral agency, every person is responsible for himself.
He cannot say: “I don’t listen because my family members or
other people don’t listen.” No, it’s an individual thing. Every
person is responsible for himself because every person has free
moral agency.
And now, he who does not want to hear the Voice of
God cannot be forced to hear the Voice of God; but he who
wants to hear the Voice of God, no one can stop him, and he
cannot let people stop him from hearing the Voice of God
either.
Now we have seen where the Voice of God has always
been for each age and for each dispensation.
And what will happen to the people who do not want to
hear the Voice of God for the time in which they live, through
the messenger God sends for that time? Let’s see what God
says. He says:
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not
hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I14 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
will require it of him.”
In other words, he will have to settle that with God.
In the Book of Acts, chapter 3, verse 22 to 23, Saint
Peter says, quoting this passage: “I will destroy him from
among the people.” In other words, he loses the right to belong
to the people of God, and therefore, he loses the right to
Eternal Life. And he deserves to lose that blessing. Why?
Because whoever does not hear the Voice of God while he is
here on Earth, would not hear the Voice of God in eternity.
If when he needs to hear the Voice of God to obtain
Eternal Life… as Christ said: “He that heareth…” Let’s see.
Saint John chapter 5, verse 24, let’s see what it says here:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my
word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life,
and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
death unto life.”
That is for whoever hears the Word of God; but
whoever does not hear It, well, he ends up (how?) in death.
Because, if by hearing the Voice of Christ for the time in
which a person lives (the Voice of God), the person passes
from death to Life, then the human race, human beings, are in
death.
And the only way to pass from death to Life is by
hearing the Voice of Christ, through which the Program of
Redemption is made known; and thus, the person receives
Christ as his Savior, washes away his sins in the Blood of
Christ, and receives the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ. And
what has he obtained through that? Well, he has obtained the
new birth.
And what is the new birth, which Christ spoke to
Nicodemus about? Because Christ told Nicodemus that he
must be born again. [John] chapter 3, verse 1 and on, says:
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus,
a ruler of the Jews:THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 15
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no
man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with
him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God,” (meaning, he cannot comprehend It, he
cannot understand It).
“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born
when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's
womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into
the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
Now, why must we be born again? Because, after the
fall in the Garden of Eden, the human race fell into death, for
the wages of sin is death.4 And with the fall of Adam and Eve
in the Garden of Eden, the human race, the seed of Adam and
Eve, fell into death. And that is why the Scripture says that
through man or by man death came into the human race.5
The human being (notice) was created to live eternally;
but death came in due to sin, because the wages of sin is
death.
Adam was a man with both consciouses together. That
is why Adam was put on Earth as king of the Earth. And
notice, Adam talked with God; God visited him every day.
Now, how could it be that Adam talked to God and
God talked to him? Because Adam, as a prophet, could see in
that other dimension: the sixth dimension.
4 Romans 6:23
5 1 Corinthians 15:2116 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
There are seven dimensions. Light, time, and matter are
the first three.
The fourth is the dimension of waves, where the radio
and television are manifested; and we can’t see that dimension,
but we know it exists. And through that dimension we receive
radio and television broadcasts, but we have only discovered
perhaps less than one millionth of that dimension.
Because that dimension has great riches for the human
being, but once he is completely restored; because if the
human race currently had the full knowledge of the fourth
dimension, they would use it for evil. Using what they already
have, notice: through television, they have done more harm
than good to the human race. And likewise, we can see that
with the blessings God has given the human race, the human
being has done more harm than good.
And why is this? Because after the fall, human beings
have not been able to come with both consciouses together
anymore—except for some people, from age to age and from
dispensation to dispensation, who are the prophets sent by
God.
And now, in order for a human being to come with
both consciouses together, he must be a prophet for an age or
for a dispensation.
And now, let’s see how God started everything. Saint
John chapter 1, verse 1 and on, says:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not
any thing made that was made.”
In other words, what Genesis chapter 1, verse 1, says,
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth,” was
the creation of the Word that was with God and was God; the
Word was the One that created all things.THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 17
In other words, God Himself, in His theophanic Body
or Body of the sixth dimension, in which He appeared to the
prophets of the Old Testament on different occasions in the
form of an Angel called the Angel of the Lord, who appeared
to Moses on Mount Sinai while Moses kept the flock of his
father-in-law, Jethro… this Angel, notice, manifested Himself
in that Pillar of Fire, in that Light. Because the Angel of the
Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, can manifest Himself in the
form of that Light or Pillar of Fire or Shekinah, where we also
find Him in the tabernacle that Moses built, in the holy of
holies, on the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold.
And now, we find that the Angel of the Lord, who
appeared to the Prophet Moses on Mount Sinai and sent him
for the deliverance of the Hebrew people, said to him, “I am
the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”6 Why? Because the
Angel of the Lord is the Lord Himself, He is the same Word
that was with God and was God.
And now, this Angel of the Lord has also appeared in
the Old Testament in the form of a Man, an Angel, but from
another dimension.
He appeared to the Prophet Moses. Moses wanted to
see God face to face, but God said to him: “There shall no man
see Me, and live. I will pass before you; you will be in the cleft
of the rock, and I will pass by proclaiming the Name of the
Lord,” (in other words, YHWH). “And when I have passed by,
I will take My hand away from you or from your face, and
then you will see My back.”7
We also find Samson’s parents, who saw the Angel of
the Lord. And Samson’s father told his wife, “We will die,
because we have seen God face to face.” And his wife
comforted her husband and said to him, “We will not die.”8
6 Exodus 3:6
7 Exodus 33:19-23
8 Judges 13:22-2318 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Why? Notice, by simply using logic we would know that they
were not going to die. Why? Because the Angel was promising
them that they were going to have a son. And how is He going
to promise them that they will have a son, if they are going to
die before they have the son? They were going to die, but
when they reached the relevant age in which God would call
them; but first they would have the child. And we don’t know
how many years they lived after they had their son Samson.
And they lived for many years because they saw their son
grown up as well; so they weren’t going to die.
And now, how is it that God says: “There shall no man
see Me, and live,” yet Samson’s parents say they saw God face
to face?
And how is it that Jacob also says he saw God face to
face? Where does Jacob say this? He says it in chapter 32,
verse (let’s see)... [Genesis] verse 24 and on, says:
“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man
with him,” (it was not a light, it was a Man), “until the
breaking of the day.”
This is a type and figure, at the Last Day, of the Second
Coming of Christ, of the Coming of the Messiah; and the
heavenly Israel (which is the Church of Jesus Christ) and the
earthly Israel (which is the Hebrew people) holding on tight to
the Second Coming of Christ, to the Coming of the King of
Israel, until they receive the blessing of complete redemption
and restoration.
“And when he saw that he prevailed not against him,
he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s
thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.”
But, you know something? It is better for a man to be
limping with God’s blessing, than to be as healthy as can be
but without God’s blessing. And the problems one may face
while seeking God’s blessing cannot compare to the benefits
that those blessings will produce for the person.THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 19
“And he,” (the Angel), “said, Let me go, for the day
breaketh.”
In other words, that happened when the day was
already breaking; that means the fourth watch, which is the
only watch that pertains to the morning time: from six to nine
in the morning. The fourth watch is the most important and it
is the one where the greatest blessings have come to the people
of God, both the Hebrew people and the Church of Jesus
Christ.
The Hebrew people is the earthly Israel; the Church of
Jesus Christ is the heavenly Israel. One must understand this
so that one does not have conflicts with the Hebrew people and
to avoid conflicts regarding interpretations that contradict the
Biblical prophecies.
Just like among the Hebrew people there was the
temple of Moses or built by Moses, and then the temple built
by Solomon, and then the restorations they made (of the
temple)… and there is also a Temple in Heaven.
The mystery of the temple Moses built and the temple
Solomon built is that the same wisdom was used in [the
construction of] those temples as the wisdom that was used in
the construction of the Temple which is in Heaven; and only
God could give that wisdom to Moses and to Solomon.
What makes Solomon the wisest man is that he was
able to build a temple here on Earth that represented the
Temple which is in Heaven. Nothing better demonstrates the
wisdom that the Scripture says he has;9 and we can say that he
was wiser than people could imagine.
And now, it’s the same with Moses: he built a temple
on Earth that was a type and figure of the Temple which is in
Heaven. That is why what was done in that temple was so
meaningful before the Presence of God; and that is why when
two sons of Aaron went into the holy of holies with strange
9 1 Kings 4:29-3420 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
fire, they died there,10 because no one can go into the Temple
which is in Heaven with strange fire either.
And what was a type and figure here on Earth, notice,
was here on Earth to reflect what was there in Heaven. In other
words, the temple Moses built and the temple Solomon built
contained the types and figures of the things that are in
Heaven.
And now, God is on His Throne in Heaven. And where
was God in the temple of Moses and the temple of Solomon?
He was on the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold,
in that Shekinah, in other words, the Pillar of Fire; that is
God’s dwelling place or the throne of God in the temple Moses
built and the temple King Solomon built.
But now, in front of the temple, Jesus once said:
“Behold One greater than the temple,”11 and “Behold, a greater
than Solomon.”12 And those were very strong words at that
moment, for people who could not understand what Jesus was
referring to.
And now, we cannot find the temple of Moses
anymore, nor the temple of Solomon, but you know
something? A Temple is being built, a new Temple, to which
and of which Saint Paul the Apostle testifies in his Letter to
the Ephesians chapter 2, verse 19 and on (to avoid reading too
much); he says:
“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the
household of God…”
Which family or household do we belong to? The
Household of God. And how is it that we belong to the
Household of God? Just as we have come to this Earth through
our father and mother (our earthly parents), and we have come
10 Leviticus 10:1-2
11 Matthew 12:6
12 Matthew 12:42; Luke 11:31THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 21
to belong to an earthly family, and we have received the
surname of our earthly parents, and they have given us an
earthly name as well because we have been born into that
family… But we have been born into a family that fell,
because that is a family that comes from Adam and Eve.
And that is why we have been born on this Earth, we
have obtained a mortal, corruptible, and temporary body, and
in our body we have received a spirit of the world, which
inclines the human being to evil. And that is why a new birth
is required, where the person receives a Spirit—not of the
world, but of Heaven, and that is the Spirit of Christ; and thus,
he obtains a theophanic body of the sixth dimension; because
the spirit of the human being is none other than a body of
another dimension.
And when the person is born again: he obtains a body
of the sixth dimension, the dimension of the theophany, the
dimension of the Word; the dimension in which and to which
the Body that appeared to the prophets of the Old Testament,
called the Angel of the Covenant or Angel of the Lord,
belongs to; He appeared on many occasions in the form of a
Man, in other words, a Man, an Angel, a Man from another
dimension, meaning, a Man of the sixth dimension.
I told you that there are seven dimensions. The fourth
dimension, I told you, is the dimension of waves.
The fifth dimension is a dimension no one wants to go
to and no one wants to know anything about; but some, out of
ignorance, are under the influence of that dimension. That fifth
dimension is called hell, and no one wants anything to do with
that dimension; but that is the dimension that has been
manifested on this Earth the most, because that is the
dimension where the devil manifests himself and that is the
dimension that those who die without salvation go to.
And we have another dimension that everyone wants to
go to: it is the sixth dimension, which is Paradise. That is the22 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
dimension that people who are saved go to, because they have
a body of that dimension; it is the theophanic body, which is
obtained through the new birth; because when the person is
born again…
Just like by being born on this Earth we obtained a
spirit of the world (meaning, a body of the fifth dimension),
and we obtained a body of this earthly dimension that is
mortal, corruptible, and temporary, when we obtain the new
birth, we obtain a theophanic body of the sixth dimension
called the Spirit of Christ, which is given to us; and at the Last
Day, we will receive the eternal and glorified physical body,
which is the second part of the plan of redemption.
Once we have believed in Christ as our Savior, and we
have washed away our sins in the Blood of Christ, and we
have received His Holy Spirit: we receive the firstfruits of the
Spirit, in other words, we receive the Spirit of adoption of
which Saint Paul says in his Letter to the Ephesians chapter 4,
verse 30:
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are
sealed unto the day of redemption.”
In other words, until the day when our bodies will be
changed, and thus, we will have an eternal body.
That is the redemption that Saint Paul is referring to
when he tells us about the glorious liberty of the children of
God; because it says in Romans chapter 8 that we will all be
delivered… Chapter 8, verse 21 and on, says:
“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered
from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and
travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit...”
What do we have? The firstfruits of the Spirit--whenTHE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 23
we have received Christ as our Savior and washed away our
sins in the Blood of Christ.
The sacrifices that were carried out in the Old
Testament, there in the temple, are no longer needed. Why?
Because those animal sacrifices were the type and figure of the
Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who would die on Calvary’s
Cross, and would cleanse us from all sin with His Blood; and
that is why we find that those sacrifices are no longer required.
And now, let’s see what it goes on to say. It says:
“And not only they,” (not only they, meaning, not only
the creation), “but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of
the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting
for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
The adoption is the redemption of our body. The
redemption of our body—for we who are alive—is the
transformation of our body, where we will obtain an eternal
body: we will be changed in our atoms; and the dead in Christ
will rise in eternal bodies; and when we see them resurrected,
then we will be changed. For that reason, the intervention of
that sixth dimension will be present at this end time.
And the saints who have departed are in the sixth
dimension. You can see here, in the Book of Revelation, that
they are in another dimension and they glorify God, they
speak. Why? Because they are in a body, but from another
dimension.
That is the kind of body that God had when He
appeared to the prophets of the Old Testament and they saw
Him in the form of a Man from another dimension. That is the
Word that was with God and was God; because the Word that
was with God and was God, is God Himself in His theophanic
Body, in that theophanic Body called the Angel of the Lord or
Angel of the Covenant.
And that is why the prophet, and patriarch, and man of
God, Jacob, wrestled with that Man, with that Man24 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
from another dimension, and prevailed; and that is a big thing,
for a man to prevail against the Angel of the Lord.
Notice, Jacob is the symbolism or the type or… he is
the symbolism of a man who fights for God’s blessing. In
Jacob, in his life, you find everything a man needs to do to
obtain the victory.
Notice, Jacob, even from his mother’s womb wrestled
to be born first, because he was fighting for what? For the
birthright blessing. The birthright blessing has a double
portion.
And now, notice, in the birthright blessing we have the
portion of the firstfruits of the Spirit, and the portion of the
physical, glorified, and eternal body we will receive at this end
time; but the firstfruits of the Spirit is the theophanic body of
the sixth dimension, that theophanic body of the sixth
dimension, which is like the theophanic Body of God called
the Angel of the Covenant or Angel of the Lord.
Now, notice, it goes on to say [Genesis 32:26]:
“And he,” (the Angel), “said, Let me go, for the day
breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless
me.”
And that must be the position of every child of God: to
hold on to God every day of his life in order to receive every
blessing from God.
“And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said,
Jacob.
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but
Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with
men, and hast prevailed.”
He had power (he wrestled) with God and with men,
and prevailed. He wrestled with Esau from his mother’s
womb, but in the end he obtained the victory. He wrestled with
his father Isaac, and prevailed, and obtained Isaac’s blessing.
He wrestled with his father-in-law, there in Padanaram, andTHE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 25
prevailed. And who is the one that lost? His father-in-law,
Laban, lost his sheep or the sheep; the blessing of the sheep
and his daughters went on to Jacob.
And now, here he is receiving a blessing that crowns
Jacob as the overcomer.
If Esau had known what a great blessing he was losing
(or he had before he lost it), a blessing not only for him but for
all his seed… But we have to understand one thing: the
Scripture says that God loved Jacob and hated Esau;13 and
Saint Paul says it was before they were born, and even before
they did good or evil;14 in other words, it was something from
before the foundation of the world.
In God’s mind, before God, who was the firstborn?
Jacob. Just like the first one who is born is the firstborn, well,
the first one in God’s mind was (who?) Jacob. So he was the
firstborn in God’s mind, therefore, he had the birthright
blessing.
Just like all of God’s firstborn, written in Heaven, in
the Lamb’s Book of Life, are the firstborn before the
foundation of the world because they are the ones who God
thought of first; and He put them in a special section of the
Book of Life called the section of the Lamb’s Book of Life.
And for those people, all things work together (for
what?) For good. Likewise, for Jacob, everything worked
together for good: for Jacob, problems became blessings. And
since that is the case, who is going to complain about having
problems? Instead, he will say: “Lord, help me in this problem,
this stage that I am going through, so that it may be a blessing
to me.” In every problem, Jacob saw a blessing.
It is like a picture, a painting that Rev. William
Branham talks about, which was in Germany, that when
people went to that place where the painting was, to that
13 Malachi 1:2-3
14 Romans 9:1326 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
museum, when they looked at that painting from a distance,
they saw a storm, a tempest; but as they got closer, they
realized that it was angels flying and it wasn’t any storm.15 It
was a blessing, but from a distance, it looked like a storm.
And now, we find that for Jacob, notice, blessings
looked like a storm to him, but he would get closer to that
blessing, and then he would receive the blessing. If you
examine Jacob’s life carefully, you will find all these things,
but you will find that he remained steadfast, always seeking
God’s blessing.
And now, this blessing here, which seems to be the
simplest, is the greatest, because notice: he found himself face
to face with the Angel of the Lord. And this is what will
happen to the Hebrew people, to Israel, the earthly Israel, and
to the heavenly Israel at this end time: they will meet the
Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, in human flesh
at the Last Day, and they will hold on tight to the Angel of the
Covenant; and that will be the Coming of the Messiah to the
heavenly Israel and to the earthly Israel as well.
And now, let’s continue reading here. It says:
“And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee,
thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after
my name? And he blessed him there.”
Samson’s parents also asked for the Name of the
Angel. Samson’s father said to Him: “Tell me what Your
Name is, so that we may honor You when what you said
comes to pass.” But the Angel said to Him: “Why do you ask
for My Name, seeing It is secret?” and He left. And then they
realized that He was the Angel of the Lord, and they said, “We
will die, because we have seen God face to face.”
And now let’s see what Jacob says here about this
15 ENG59-0125 “Be Certain Of God,” page 16, page 119;
ENG60-0310 “Elijah And The Meal-Offering,” page 17,
paragraph 103THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 27
encounter that he had with the Angel of the Lord:
“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel…”
Peniel means ‘the face of God.’ And since he had seen
God there, the Angel of the Lord, it says:
“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I
have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him,
and he halted upon his thigh.”
But even though he was limping, he went with God’s
blessing. And when Jacob blessed his grandchildren (and then,
later on, his sons), Jacob says that the blessings he had
received were greater than the blessings of his ancestors,16
meaning, Isaac and Abraham.
Notice, because of the victory that Jacob obtained when
he fought for the birthright blessing, the blessing that Esau
had, Esau lost it and Jacob obtained it.
Now, if someone does not read the Scripture with his
eyes open, he will not realize what a great blessing Jacob
obtained. Look, if Jacob had not obtained the birthright
blessing, then the territory of Israel, the promised land, would
belong to whose seed? Esau’s seed; and the exodus wouldn't
have been the exodus of the Hebrew people, it wouldn’t have
been the exodus of Jacob’s seed, instead, it would have been
whose exodus? The exodus of Esau’s seed.
Because the promise was that the seed of Abraham
would serve in a land that was not theirs;17 but back then, God
did not tell him—He kept that a secret—about that seed and
the whole family line, He did not tell him their names.
Therefore, from the seed of Abraham through Isaac, and from
Isaac, who had two sons: from one of them would come the
seed of Abraham that would be captive in a land that was not
theirs and would be delivered or set free.
16 Genesis 49:26
17 Genesis 15:1328 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
But all of that was a secret, because God keeps many
things a secret so that His Program is not interrupted; because
there are many impersonators, who try to impersonate God’s
Program. And another thing: the devil always tries to destroy
God’s Program because he is God’s enemy. Therefore,
through the Scripture we find that there are prophecies given,
but there are no explanations until a certain time for God to
keep that whole Program a secret, so that it is not interrupted.
For example, when God said in Genesis chapter 3,
verse 15, that the woman’s seed was the one that would bruise
the head of the serpent, of the serpent’s seed, He kept that
secret; and then, through the prophet Isaiah, He said it would
be through a virgin of the Hebrew people,18 and then He said
that from the seed of Jesse would come that offspring or
branch that would be born,19 which would be the Messiah; and
through the Prophet Micah, in chapter 5, verse 2, He says that
He would be born in Bethlehem of Judea. See?
As God sends prophets, the prophecy or visions
multiply. The Scripture says that God multiplied visions by
sending prophets,20 because through each prophet He shed a
little more Light on each of the prophecies. And when He was
born in Bethlehem of Judea, well, that was the fulfillment of
all the prophecy or visions that had been given from stage to
stage, with a little [more] Light each time.
Now, there are people who want to see what God has
promised, to see it in full light, before it’s time for it to be seen
in full detail--in full light in order to see all the details of that
prophecy.
Now, let’s see Jacob and Esau. If Esau did not lose the
birthright blessing, notice the people that would have received
the deliverance; and the Prophet Moses wouldn’t have been
18 Isaiah 7:14
19 Isaiah 11:1
20 Hosea 12:10THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 29
the prophet of the Hebrew people; and the ministry of the
deliverer of the seed of Abraham would have been a
descendant of Esau; and the promised land would have been
given to whom? To Esau’s seed; and every messianic promise
for the inhabitants of the promised land would have been for
Esau’s seed.
And what does this all mean? That the seed of Esau
would have been the heir to the promised land. And therefore,
the capital of the world would not be the capital of Israel, but
instead, the capital of Esau; Jerusalem would not be the capital
of the Hebrew people, but the capital of Esau’s seed. And the
Messiah would be ruling in the future Millennial Kingdom
with the seed of Esau, and not with the seed of Jacob. And the
First Coming of Christ would have been fulfilled through a
descendant of Esau, and not through a descendant of Israel.
Now notice all the things entailed in the birthright
blessing, which Jacob fought for, and obtained.
And during the Messianic Kingdom, the world will be
ruled by the Messiah, from Jerusalem, where His Throne is.
“What do you mean His Throne is there?” Well, of course. His
Throne is the Throne of David.
The Archangel Gabriel told the virgin Mary that His
Father would give Him whose Throne? The Throne of
David;21 therefore, the Kingdom of David will be restored.
And that is why the Scripture tells us that Israel will seek
David, David their King;22 because they will receive the
Messiah, who will sit on the Throne of David.
And now, notice all the blessings there are in the
birthright blessing; and Jacob is the overcomer who obtained
those blessings for his seed. That is why during the Millennial
Kingdom and for all eternity, Jacob will have a very important
position in the Kingdom of the Messiah, and so will Jacob’s
21 Luke 1:32
22 Hosea 3:530 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
sons, and so will the two sons of Joseph, who were made
tribes as well.
Because the birthright blessing is a double blessing;
therefore, by Joseph obtaining the birthright blessing, which
was bestowed upon Joseph when Jacob blessed Ephraim and
Manasseh…
Now, notice, we find that Joseph has two tribes, Joseph
has a double portion. Why? Because he has a blessing, which
is the birthright blessing, so that double portion belongs to
him. That is why there is the tribe of Manasseh and there is the
tribe of Ephraim; but when we speak of the tribe of Joseph, we
are speaking of Manasseh and Ephraim. In other words, the
tribe of Joseph is made up of two tribes: the tribe of Ephraim
and the tribe of Manasseh; he has a double-portion tribe.
And notice how Jacob had a prophet son, who was
Joseph; and therefore, the birthright blessing had to go to who?
To Joseph. And, you know something? Although it doesn’t
seem this way from what we can see, it’s just as I’m about to
tell you: Jacob’s firstborn is Joseph.
How can it be Joseph, if Reuben was the first? How
can it be possible for Joseph to be the firstborn, when Reuben
is the one who was born first? Let’s see.
When Jacob worked seven years for one of Laban’s
daughters, which one did he work for? Rachel. And when he
got married, who did he marry? Rachel. The fact that his
father-in-law tricked him, that was his father-in-law’s problem;
because the promise for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and
Jacob’s seed, is: “He who curses you will be cursed, and he
who blesses you will be blessed.”23
In other words, anything anyone tries to do against
Abraham’s seed will come against the person, people, or
nation that does it; and what will come upon the person (upon
Jacob’s seed) will be a blessing; but as for the person who
23 Genesis 12:3, 27:29; Numbers 24:9THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 31
does something against Abraham’s seed, it will be a curse
upon that person, people, or nation.
If the nations knew that, they would win over the favor
of the Hebrew people and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ,
which is the heavenly Israel; but they haven’t been able to
understand that, and that is why they have persecuted the
Hebrew people (and tried to exterminate the Hebrew people)
and they have also persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ in
past ages.
And that requires the Divine Judgment upon the human
race, which will come, and it is called the Day of Vengeance
of our God; the coming day that shall burn as an oven, which it
speaks about in Malachi chapter 4, verse 1 and on, where it
says:
“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an
oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be
stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the
Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor
branch.”
But unto those who fear the Name of the Lord, it says:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of
righteousness arise with healing in his wings…”
When it speaks about the rising of the Son of
righteousness, it is referring to the Second Coming of Christ,
the Coming of the Messiah; it is referring to the Coming of the
Messiah at the Last Day, for He is the Sun of Righteousness.
In His First Coming, He said: “I am the Light of the
world,”24 and He continues to be the Light of the world. He is
the Sun of Righteousness that will rise at the Last Day; He will
appear to the heavenly Israel first, which is His Church, and to
the earthly Israel, which is the Hebrew people.
And now, what was the Coming of the Messiah, the
First Coming of Christ, two thousand years ago? The Prophet
24 John 8:1232 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Malachi tells us what the Coming of the Messiah two thousand
years ago was. Chapter 3 of Malachi says:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall
prepare the way before me…”
That was John the Baptist, who came in the Spirit and
power of Elijah.
When God promises the coming of a prophet who
already came in the past and had his ministry, we find that it is
the ministry of that prophet in another man, who comes with
another name too: he doesn’t have to come with the same
name he came with the first time.
The ministry of Elijah is promised to be manifested on
the Earth five times: Elijah the Tishbite, Elisha…
When the sons of the prophets saw that Elisha opened
up the Jordan with the mantle of Elijah, like Elijah had done,
they said: “The Spirit of Elijah has rested on Elisha.”25
It is very important to identify the Spirit of Elijah, the
ministry of Elijah, when it is manifested on Earth in the man
sent by God for that time; and the sons of the prophets
identified it manifested in whom? In Elisha.
And the third time that the ministering Spirit of Elijah
came manifested on Earth in human flesh was in John the
Baptist. Christ said: “He is the Elijah that was to come, if you
will receive him.” Chapter 11, verse 14 of Saint Matthew; and
chapter 17, verses 10 to 13, of Saint Matthew as well.
And the Archangel Gabriel told Zacharias the Priest
that the son he would have, that they would name him John,
and he would come in the Spirit and power of Elijah;26 in other
words, he would come in the Spirit and power of Elijah, in
other words, in the ministry of Elijah and with the same Spirit
that was in Elijah. And what does that mean? It was the Holy
Spirit that was in the Prophet Elijah, and now the Holy Spirit
25 2 Kings 2:15
26 Luke 1:8-17THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 33
would come in a man forerunning the First Coming of the
Messiah: The Holy Spirit would come manifested in John the
Baptist.
Didn’t the Archangel Gabriel tell Zacharias the Priest
that the child would be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from
his mother’s womb? And when Mary visited her cousin
Elisabeth, when Elisabeth heard Mary’s voice, the child that
was in Elisabeth’s womb leaped for joy, out of happiness, in
Elisabeth’s womb.27 See? There he was filled with the Holy
Spirit even from his mother’s womb; and he prepared the way
for the Messiah. And now… He was his cousin. And then,
when He began his ministry, he also recognized Him: he saw
the Spirit of God upon Jesus when he baptized Him.28
And now, it says [Malachi 3]:
“...And the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to
his temple…”
Who were the Hebrew people seeking in the temple?
The Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the One
who will come, according to this prophecy, whom this prophet
forerunner, which was John the Baptist, would be preparing
the way for.
“...Even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye
delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Who would come? The Angel of the Covenant, the
Angel of the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the
One who appeared to the Prophet Moses and sent him for the
deliverance of the Hebrew people. Because God always uses a
man, He puts His Word in the mouth of that man, and He
manifests Himself through that man: He veils Himself in
human flesh in a man and reveals Himself through that man,
and carries out His Work pertaining to that time through that
man.
27 Luke 1:39-44
28 John 1:32-3434 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
That is why we find that everything that Moses did: it
was the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, through
Moses; but it was through human flesh, manifested in the
Prophet Moses; because a man cannot do the things that the
Prophet Moses did, but God can do them through a man. That
is why it also says that it was God who delivered the Hebrew
people and carried them on eagles’ wings to the promised
land.29
And now, when the fulfillment of this promise came,
what was it? It was the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant,
the Angel of the Lord, the Word that was with God and was
God, and created all things; and Saint John says in chapter 1,
verse 14: “And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us.”
The Word made flesh, the Angel of the Covenant made
flesh. The Angel of the Lord, God Himself in His Theophanic
Body of the sixth dimension, now taking up a body of flesh in
this dimension: clothed as a Man, appearing in the form of a
Prophet here on Earth; because the Messiah in His Coming
must always be a Prophet. And that is the Coming of the Angel
of the Covenant, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but
clothed in a veil of flesh.
When God created Adam, first He created him a
theophanic body of the sixth dimension, just like the
theophanic Body that God had, which is a Body similar to this
body we have here, but from the sixth dimension.
And now, we discover—through the Scripture—that
the creation of the Heavens and the Earth, the creation of the
whole universe, which science is searching for (they are
searching for the origin of creation), it says: “And the Word,
which was with God and was God,” it says that by Him, what?
All things were made. There you have the origin of creation.
And He was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we knew
29 Exodus 19:4; Deuteronomy 32:9-12THE SEVENTH SEAL AND GOD’S MASTERPIECE 35
Him by the Name of Jesus of Nazareth. He was none other
than the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, in other
words, God Himself with His theophanic Body inside a Body
of flesh.
That is why on one occasion when Jesus was saying
certain things, and they tried to stone Him, He asks: “And now
for which of the good works that I have done in your midst do
you want to stone Me?” They tell Him: “We don’t stone You
for good works that you have done, but for blasphemy,
because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”30 But it was
the other way around. If one misinterprets things, one cannot
understand them.
They said: “You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
But the right thing was: being God, being the Lord, being the
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Angel of the Covenant,
He was made man and dwelt among human beings; the Word
was made flesh, was made man. But they said: “No. You,
being a Man, make Yourself God.”
Jesus was not making Himself God. He, being God,
became man and dwelt among men: He was clothed in a Body
of flesh among the human race to carry out the Work of
Redemption on Calvary’s Cross; because the only One who
could carry It out was God Himself, clothed as a man and
appearing as a human being among the human race. But
because He had to carry out the Work of Redemption, He had
to blind the Hebrew people so that the Hebrew people could
not see that He was the promised Messiah; He was their God,
the Angel of the Covenant, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob.
If the great rabbis and the high priest had recognized
Him, they would not have crucified Him, because they were
waiting for Him; but He had to die. That was represented when
Moses smote the rock and it gave forth water to the people; he
30 John 10:32-3336 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
smote it with the rod that first time, that first rock.31
The second time, when he had to speak to the rock so
that it would give forth water (in another territory), and he
smote the rock, God was displeased with Moses, He was angry
with Moses, and He said to him: “Now you will not go into the
promised land, because you did that, which I did not tell you to
do.” God had told him: “Speak to the rock.”32
The rock is Christ, it represents the Coming of the
Messiah; and the First Coming of the Messiah had to be
smitten; and that is why God told him to smite the rock with
the rod, because that represented the crucifixion of Christ to
give forth the Water of Eternal Life.
But the Second Coming of Christ is not for a second
crucifixion. But since Moses broke the type and figure back
then, there were grave consequences for him and he was not
able to go into the promised land in his physical body; but he
did go in his theophanic body. That is why we see him there
on Mount Transfiguration, with Jesus and Elijah.33
And now, at the Last Day, a second physical
crucifixion cannot be carried out because it was already carried
out back then, for redemption, to take away our sins. But
because Moses did that back then (which displeased God), at
the Last Day, the Gentiles… Just like the Hebrews asked for
the death of Christ, and the Gentiles, the Roman Empire,
pleased the Hebrew people and crucified Christ, likewise, at
the Last Day, the Second Coming of Christ will receive a
second crucifixion, though not physical, but spiritual; because
the type and figure was established back then and it must be
fulfilled.
Therefore, those who will rise against the Second
Coming of Christ, against the Coming of the Messiah at the

Last Day, and who will speak against the Second Coming of
Christ, and combat the Second Coming of Christ, will be
guilty of the second crucifixion. They will be accused before
God of a second crucifixion because they will be doing the
equivalent to what the Hebrew people did back then in the
First Coming of Christ.
And that is why, just like the Divine Judgment came
upon the Hebrew people for asking for the crucifixion of
Christ and saying: “His Blood be on us, and on our
children…” Instead of saying only on them and not on their
seed, they asked that It be on all their seed, and the Divine
Judgment fell upon all their seed, and Hitler nearly
exterminated the Hebrew people.
But by God’s mercy and the promises given to the
Father of Faith, Abraham, God’s mercy was extended upon the
Hebrew people, and those days of great tribulation for the
Hebrew nation were shortened for the descendants of
Abraham; because otherwise, no flesh would be saved if that
persecution, that Holocaust against the Hebrews continued;
and at the Last Day, at this end time, we would not have one
hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews, who are promised
in the Bible, which are God’s elect from among the Hebrews,
twelve thousand of each tribe.34
If Hitler continued, he would have exterminated the
Hebrew nation. And then where would the one hundred and
forty-four thousand Hebrews come from? So God’s mercy, for
the sake of His love for the fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
and the promises given to them, stopped that great tribulation
that came upon the Hebrew people.
Because the Hebrew people no longer have sacrifices
for sin: they do not have the temple (neither the temple of
Moses nor the temple of Solomon, nor the temple they had
back in the days of Jesus) and they do not have the sacrifices

for sin (the sin offering of the goat and other sacrifices or
offerings, which counted before God)...
But why? And what things did those sacrifices do?
Since they were a type and figure of Christ and His Sacrifice
on Calvary’s Cross, as the type and figure, the shadow: the
blood of those sacrifices covered the sin of the people who
carried out those sacrifices the right way, as God had
established for the Hebrew people.
And that is the secret of those sacrifices and also of the
temple of the Hebrew people: their sins were covered (not
taken away, but covered), and the reconciliation for the
Hebrew people came on the day of atonement. If that sin
offering was not carried out, the Divine Judgment would come
upon the Hebrew people; but it was for them to be reconciled
to God and for their sins to be taken away, that is, to be
covered before the Presence of God.
And no other nation had the Divine Revelation of that
mystery of those sacrifices, and of the temple of Moses and of
the temple of Solomon, and of the temple established among
the Hebrew people.
It’s because all of that is a type and figure of the things
that would be in Heaven, with the Sacrifice of Christ making
intercession there in Heaven for all those whose names are
written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
But once Christ came—the Sacrifice of Christ does not
cover sin, rather, it takes it away. Therefore, you are not going
to cover your sin, rather, you want to take away your sin. And
you cannot take it away with the blood of an animal; it’s with
the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.
Therefore, animal sacrifices are no longer needed, and
the temple is no longer needed to carry out all those things
either. Si
