JEHOVAH-NISSI
Sunday, August 30, 1998
Villahermosa, Mexico
Good morning beloved friends and brethren present, it is a great blessing to be with friends you an ond brethren this occasion present. to some moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His
Program pertaining to this end time.
For this reason, I want to read in Exodus chapter 17,
verses 8 to 16, where it says the following:
“Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go
out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the
hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with
Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the
hill.
And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that
Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek
prevailed.
But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and
put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed
up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other
side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the
edge of the sword.4 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
And the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial
in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly
put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it
Jehovahnissi:
For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord
will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”
We will take our subject for this occasion from verse 15
of this seventeenth chapter of Exodus, where it says:
“And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it
Jehovahnissi…”
“JEHOVAH-NISSI.”
Jehovah-nissi is one of God’s compound Names.
We have seven compound Names of Divinity, which are:
Jehovah-jireh, the second is Jehovah-rapha…
The first is Jehovah-jireh, which means “The Lord will
provide;” and He provided Himself a Sacrifice, to bear our sins
and take away the sin of the human being. The Lord provided
Himself a Body of flesh called Jesus, in whom and through
whom He carried out redemption.
Now notice how these compound Names, which have a
meaning—that meaning also has a fulfillment at the time
appointed by God.
Then, the second is Jehovah-rapha, which means “the
Lord heals;” and this refers to both physical healing as well as
spiritual healing, of a person’s soul. And at the Last Day, He will
give us a total physical healing upon giving us an eternal and
glorified body.
The next one is Jehovah-nissi, and it means “the Lord is
our banner.” And in the Scripture we read, it tells us that Moses
built an altar to God and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi,
which means “the Lord is our banner.”
Then we also have the fourth compound Name of God,
of Divinity; it is Jehovah-shalom, which means “the Lord is our
peace” or “the Lord sends peace.”
That is why Christ said in His First Coming: “My peace IJEHOVAH-NISSI 5
leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives
it, I give unto you;”1 because He is the Prince of Peace according
to Isaiah chapter 9, verses 6 to 7. Let’s see here. Isaiah chapter 9,
verses 6 to 7, says:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and
the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall
be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Christ in His First Coming and in His Second Coming is
(whom?) the Prince of Peace; and He is the One who brings
peace to His people, both the Hebrew people and His Gentile
Church.
Then, the fifth compound Name…
Notice, He brings us peace through His Sacrifice, by
giving us salvation: upon believing in Christ as our Savior and
washing away our sins in the Blood of Christ, and thus obtaining
the Spirit of Christ and being reconciled with God, and being at
peace with God.
“For Christ is our peace, who has made both one,”2
meaning, of the Hebrew people and the Gentiles, He is making
one people, called the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is
a heavenly people. It is a heavenly nation.
And that is why every member of that heavenly people is
an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ our Lord; he belongs to
the heavenly Jerusalem, he belongs to the heavenly Israel; it does
not matter if he is not Hebrew as an individual, nevertheless, he
belongs to the heavenly Israel.
And “all those which are of the faith in Christ, the same
are the children of Abraham,”3 of that heavenly Seed of
Abraham that comes through Jesus Christ, the Son of Abraham
and Son of God, who is also the second Adam.
Notice how He is our peace: He is our peace through His
1 John 14:27
2 Ephesians 2:14
3 Galatians 3:76 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Sacrifice because He has reconciled us with God and we are at
peace with God.
Then, the fifth compound Name of Divinity is Jehovahrohi, which means “the Lord is my Shepherd.”
In the Old Testament, Psalm 23 says: “The Lord is my
Shepherd;” and in the New Testament, Jesus tells us in chapter
10, verses 14 to 16, that He is our Shepherd; because the
Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Jesus Christ of the New
Testament, and that is why He is our Shepherd. Chapter 10,
verses 14 to 16, of Saint John, says:
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am
known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father:
and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them
also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall
be one fold, and one shepherd.”
And notice how Christ in the New Testament is our
Shepherd; and He is the One who puts us in His Fold, His Flock,
and the One who feeds us with the fresh pastures of His Word,
and blesses us with the blessings of Heaven.
The Apostle Peter also tells us about Jesus Christ as the
Chief Shepherd (and let’s see if Miguel can help us here, in this
passage of Saint Peter…) Here it is. First Peter, chapter 5, verse
4 and on, says:
“And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall
receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
Because Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd of the sheep,
promised to return; Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the
Angel of the Lord, who pastored the Hebrew people, who is the
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
That Angel of the Covenant, which is God Himself in
His theophanic Body, is the Shepherd in the Old Testament and
the Shepherd in the New Testament, because He is the same One
who was made flesh and lived among the Hebrew people, in that
veil of flesh called Jesus—in the First Coming of Christ, whichJEHOVAH-NISSI 7
is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the
Lord, veiled in human flesh. The Word, which was with God
and was God, was made flesh and dwelt among human beings.
And for the Last Day, we have the promise in Revelation
19 that the Word will return. The Word will come again, as the
white-horse Rider of Revelation 19, as it says in Revelation 19,
verse 11 and on. It says:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were
many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but
he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and
his name is called The Word of God.”
It is the Coming of the Word, the Coming of the Angel
of the Covenant at the Last Day, the same One who came two
thousand years ago as the Lamb of God in His Work of
Redemption; and we find that the Name of redemption was put
there, in that manifestation in human flesh of the Angel of the
Lord, of the Angel of the Covenant (which is the Word, which is
God Himself in His theophanic Body).
In other words, the Word (which is the Angel of the
Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, God in His theophanic Body)
had a Name that was put in that veil of flesh called Jesus. In
other words, the Word is not a name, but the Word made flesh
had a Name in that manifestation of flesh; and Jesus of Nazareth
was the Word made flesh: “And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us.”4 And the Word made flesh came as the Lamb
of God and took away the sin of the world on Calvary’s Cross.
Now, the Word had a Name. Where was God’s Name of
Redemption? In the Word made flesh.
And now, we have the promise for the Last Day of the
return of the Word, the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19, the
4 John 1:148 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, coming at this end time
and manifesting Himself among His people.
“And the armies which were in heaven followed him
upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he
should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of
iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath
of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name
written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.”
He comes with the Name of King of kings and Lord of
lords; but King of kings and Lord of lords is not a proper name;
but when that white-horse Rider of Revelation 19 comes, He has
a Name, which is revealed at the Last Day to the Church of Jesus
Christ and then to the Hebrew people.
In other words, the Word coming will have a Name; the
King of kings and Lord of lords coming will have a Name; and
that is the Eternal Name of God to carry out His Claiming Work
as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of
lords in His Claiming Work.
Rev. William Branham says, talking to us about that
Name and talking to us about the Coming of the Lord, he says on
pages 150 to 152 [paragraph 275 to 285] of the Book The
Revelation Of The Seven Seals:
“Did you ever know that the Name of ‘Jehovah’ is not
correct?” (In other words, it is not correctly, uh… it is not
written correctly; meaning that the four consonants, called the
tetragrammaton, are not pronounced that way). “Anyone knows.
Dr. Vayle, you know that’s true. The translators could never
translate It. It’s spelled J-u-h-v…J-v-h-u, I mean.” (That is the
way he says it).
If we search in Biblical dictionaries, we will also find
that those Biblical dictionaries say, “Y-H-W-H,” and they also
say, “Y-H-V-H.”
The letter “y” is also translated or read as a “j,” therefore,
there is no problem there. And also, in some nations, theyJEHOVAH-NISSI 9
pronounce the letter “w” as a “v.”
For example, women or girls named Wilma are called
Vilma in some countries, because they pronounce the letter “w”
as a “v” and they write it as a “v”; but in other countries, they
spell that name with the letter “w” and they read it as Wilma.
And likewise, there are countless names that in some nations are
pronounced with the letter “w” and in others they are
pronounced with the letter “v”; but that is no problem.
That is also why the Name Jesus is also pronounced with
the letter “J” or with the “Y.” In Hebrew, Jesus (in Hebrew) is
pronounced Yeshua or Yoshua, which is Joshua. And then, in
Greek or in Spanish, or in English, it is pronounced with the
letter “J,” replacing the letter “Y” with the letter “J.” And, for
example, in Spanish we say Jesús, and in other languages as
well; and in English they say “Jesus” also [sounding like] a “Y”
at the beginning.5 But that is no problem for the believers in
Christ: they know Yeshua or Yoshua is the same Jesus.
And now, let’s continue reading what the forerunner of
the Second Coming of Christ, Rev. William Branham, says. He
says:
“They don’t know what It is.” So let’s see what they
called it.
“The translators could never translate It. It’s spelled J-uh-v…J-v-h-u, I mean,” (which is “Y-H-W-H” or “Y-H-V-H”).
“It isn’t ‘Jehovah.’” (In other words, those four consonants are
not “Jehovah,” it is not read as the Name “Jehovah.”) “They
couldn’t touch It. They don’t know what It is. Called It
‘Jehovah,’ but it wasn’t His Name.
Look, every time a victory is won, or something goes on,
a name is changed.
Look at the days of Abraham. He was, first, Abram, and
never could have that baby until his name was changed to
Abraham. And Sarra, S-a-r-r-a, could not have nothing but a
5 “Jesus” in English would be spelled with a “Y” in
Spanish to reflect the English pronunciation.10 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
dead womb until her name was changed to S-a-r-a-h.
Jacob means ‘supplanter, deceiver,’ and that’s what he
did. He put sheepskin on hisself, and deceived his prophet
father, to take the birthrights. He put poplar sticks in the water,
speckled them, scare the cattle when they was pregnated with
the…with their young, to make speckled cattle and sheep.
Nothing but a deceiver!
But one night he caught a hold of Something real, and he
knowed It was real. And he stayed with It, and held on until he
overcome. And his name was changed, and called Israel,
meaning ‘a prince with power before God.’
Is that right? [Congregation says, ‘Amen.’—Ed.] Every
overcomer!
Simon was a fisherman. But when his faith caught and
knowed that was Jesus, when He told him He was the Messiah,
and told him who his name was and what his father’s name was,
he was overcome, and changed from Simon to Peter.
Saul, good name. Saul, was a king one time in Israel,”
(because the name “Saul” comes from the name of [king] “Saul”
and that is why he mentions it here), “but he, a Saul, didn’t fit an
apostle. Might be all right for a king, but not an apostle. So
Jesus changed his name (from what?) from Saul to Paul.
Look at ‘The sons of thunder,’ and on down.
And, Jesus, His Name on earth was ‘Redeemer,’ Jesus.
When He was on earth, He was the Redeemer, that’s true. But
when He conquered death and hell, and overcome them, and
ascended on High, He received a new Name. That’s the reason
you holler the way they do, and they don’t get nothing.
It’ll be revealed in the Thunders. Uh-huh. See? Notice
the mysteries. He is coming, riding…There’s got to be
Something to change this Church. You know that. There’s got to
be Something. Notice, ‘No man knowed, but Himself.’ Now,
notice, ‘No man knowed, but Hisself.’
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:
and his name was called The Word of God.
Oh, my! Notice!JEHOVAH-NISSI 11
And the armies which were in heaven followed him
upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and
clean.
And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that with
it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them
with a rod of iron: and he tread the winepress of the
fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God.
And he had on his vesture and on his thigh a name
written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
(Revelation 19:13-16)
“There comes the Messiah. There He is…”
How does He come? On that white horse of Revelation
19. That Rider is the Messiah. It is the Coming of the Angel of
the Lord, of the Angel of the Covenant, coming at the Last Day.
On pages 154 to 155 [paragraph 302] of this same Book,
The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, he says:
“Glory! Notice! And when this Holy Spirit that we have
becomes incarnate to us, the One that’s in our midst now in the
form of the Holy Ghost, becomes incarnate to us, in the Person
of Jesus Christ, we’ll crown Him King of kings,” (and Lord of
lords).
Here we have the promise of the Coming of the Holy
Spirit incarnate.
And now let’s turn to page 168, where it shows us that
not only will the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, come
incarnate, but the spirit of the devil will also come incarnate, in
another man; the devil will also come incarnate, but in another
man, in another veil of flesh. On page 168 [paragraphs 401-402],
it says:
“See, he first…”
Referring to the antichrist and the manifestation of the
devil in the antichrist, he says:
“See, he first started, an antichrist, the spirit; then he
become a false prophet; then, later, when the devil is cast out,”
(meaning, out of Heaven), “he is incarnate then with the devil.”
(Who? The false prophet, the antichrist.) “Three stages! The12 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
first, he’s a devil, to begin with, a spirit of the devil; then he
becomes a false prophet, teacher of a false doctrine; next thing,
he comes as the very devil himself, incarnate. See? There he is.
And at the same time that this devil falls out of Heaven
and becomes incarnate in a man,” (what happens? On the other
hand, what happens?) “the Holy Spirit goes up and comes down
in carnate men.”
In other words, on one hand, the devil becomes incarnate
in the antichrist, in the man of sin, in the false prophet; and on
the other hand, in the midst of the Church of Jesus Christ, the
Holy Spirit (which has been going up from age to age) goes up
to the Age of the Cornerstone and comes down incarnate in a
Man; and that Man has to be a prophet-messenger, the true
Prophet. And in the false prophet, well, the devil becomes
incarnate; but in the true Prophet of God, the Holy Spirit comes
manifested in human flesh.
And the messenger of that age, of the Age of the
Cornerstone, must be the one whom the Holy Spirit comes;
because when the Holy Spirit came incarnate two thousand years
ago, He came incarnate in whom? In a Man named Jesus, in a
Prophet named Jesus, in the Prophet of Nazareth; because the
Word always comes to His prophets: He must come to a
prophet.
And it must be a dispensational prophet because the First
Coming of Christ was fulfilled in a dispensational prophet; that
is how the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of
the Lord, the Holy Spirit manifested in human flesh in Jesus of
Nazareth, was: in the Prophet of the Dispensation of Grace, of
the sixth dispensation. And at the Last Day, the Holy Spirit will
come, the Angel of the Covenant will come, manifested in
human flesh in the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom,
of the seventh dispensation.
And now, let’s continue reading. On page 318 [paragraph
391] of the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, it says:
“…May the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse
Rider,” (who is the true white-horse Rider? The Holy Spirit, theJEHOVAH-NISSI 13
Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Word; that is
the Rider), “while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of
antichrist, and call His Own.”
And now, on page 546 [paragraphs 275-276] of the Book
of The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, he says:
“And did you notice? ‘That one Angel,’ I said, ‘in there,
was a strange Angel.’ He looked more to me than any of the rest
of Them. You remember that? [Congregation says,
‘Amen.’—Ed.]”
He’s talking about this cloud formed by angels: the
messengers of the seven ages of the Gentile Church and another
Angel who was different from the rest, which is the Angel of the
Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, Christ in Holy
Spirit here. [Dr. Soto shows the photograph of the cloud from
the Life magazine article published on May 17, 1963—Ed.]
There are the seven angel-messengers of the seven ages,
and another Angel who is different from the rest: an eighth
Angel, whom our Brother Branham calls “the seventh Angel.”
Why? Because he is counting the six angels of the six Gentile
Church ages, but he is not counting himself there; therefore, he
only counts seven angels: six angels of the six Church ages, and
an Angel who is different from the rest (which is the Angel of
the Covenant). But if Brother Branham would have counted
himself, then he would have been added to the seven angelmessengers, and he would be the seventh angel-messenger of the
seventh Gentile Church age.
But it’s like when sometimes we have to count people,
and they tell us: “Count how many people are here.” And then
the person starts to count, and he says… let’s say, he says:
“There are seven hundred people.” And if you look closely, you
say: “ That’s right, there are seven hundred people, plus the
person who is counting, that’s seven hundred and one people.”
And the same thing happens here: when we count, when
we look… when he was there, he looked and he only saw seven
angels because he was not seeing himself. But now, when we
look, we see the seven angel-messengers of the seven ages in14 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
their theophanic bodies, and we see another Angel who is
different from those seven angel-messengers. Why? Because He
is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ
there in His theophanic Body.
And just like in order for the seven angels of the seven
ages (who are here in their theophanic bodies) to have their
ministries, they had to come manifested in human flesh, come
incarnate, come in a body of flesh, to have their ministries in the
midst of the Church of Jesus Christ… And in order for the
Angel who is different from the rest, who forms the white hair of
the Lord here, to have His ministry at the Last Day, in the Age of
the Cornerstone, after the ministries of the seven angelmessengers have ended, He must come incarnate at the Last
Day.
And since He is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of
the Lord, the Holy Spirit, He will come incarnate in a Man at the
Last Day; and that Man must be a prophet, the Prophet of the
Dispensation of the Kingdom (in other words, of the seventh
dispensation) and the Prophet of the Age of the Cornerstone. He
cannot come in another type of person; it must be in that person
already ordained by God, predestinated by God, for that purpose.
Because the Word is made flesh in God’s prophets.
And the Word was made flesh in Jesus of Nazareth, He
came manifested in flesh. The Angel of the Covenant, which is
the Word, the Angel of the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob, came manifested in human flesh. That is why when
Malachi spoke of His Coming, he said that He would send His
forerunner, “His messenger before Him, and he would prepare
the way before Him; and then the Lord, whom you seek, would
suddenly come to His Temple, and the Messenger of the
Covenant, whom you delight in.” Malachi chapter 3, verse 1,
testifies of His Coming that way.
And when the forerunner came preparing the way for
Him, it was John the Baptist. And when the Angel or Messenger
of the Covenant came (the Angel of the Lord, the Word, the God
of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Lord), notice, it was the AngelJEHOVAH-NISSI 15
of the Lord made flesh in Jesus of Nazareth; Jesus of Nazareth,
the Prophet of the sixth dispensation, of the Dispensation of
Grace, was the Man in whom the Angel of the Covenant was
manifested in all His fullness; because He came to His Temple,
His human Temple, because the human being is a temple.
And now, God’s human Temple, notice, is Jesus Christ,
in whom God was manifested in all His fullness.
That is why in front of the temple of Jerusalem, Jesus
said: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”6
And many people thought He was talking about the literal
temple; but it was about the Temple of His Body.
They destroyed it, and in three days He raised it up; in
other words, they killed Him on Calvary’s Cross, and on the
third day He raised it up. But the temple of Jerusalem was
destroyed by the Roman General Titus, and it still hasn’t been
raised up; and additionally, for years the Mosque of Omar has
already been where the temple once stood.
So, notice, He wasn’t talking about the temple of stone,
but the Temple of His Body; a Temple of flesh in which God
dwelt in all His fullness in the fulfillment of the First Coming of
the Messiah, in the fulfillment of the Coming of the Angel of the
Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, who had delivered the Hebrew
people.
And now, here we find the Angel of the Covenant again,
that Angel who was different from the rest; who delivered the
Hebrew people, and who was made flesh and physically died on
Calvary’s Cross, and who redeemed us by His precious Blood,
and has given us of His Holy Spirit, and has brought forth the
new birth in us.
And now, from age to age, He has been manifesting
Himself among His Church; and at the Last Day, He goes up
from these ages, He continues to go up, and He reaches the Last
Day, the Age of the Cornerstone: He comes up to the Age of the
Cornerstone; and just as He manifested Himself in flesh in His
6 John 2:1916 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
angel-messengers in the portion pertaining to each age, likewise,
He manifests Himself in human flesh in His Angel-Messenger in
the Age of the Cornerstone, in the fulfillment of the Coming of
the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19.
Now, notice, in order for this Angel to have His ministry
at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation
of the Kingdom, He must come manifested in human flesh. And
He can come manifested in human flesh in any of the members
of His Church. Why? Because they are redeemed by His
precious Blood, and therefore, they can be an instrument of the
Angel of the Covenant, for His manifestation. But for that
manifestation, it must be in a prophet, and it must be the Prophet
of the Dispensation of the Kingdom and Angel-Messenger of the
Age of the Cornerstone.
It can’t be in just any person, but the one who has already
been chosen by God for that purpose; because the Angel of the
Covenant will be manifesting in human flesh, through human
flesh, the ministries of Moses for the second time, Elijah for the
fifth time, and Jesus for the second time.
Those three great ministries, which are promised to be
manifested at the Last Day, will be manifested by the Angel of
the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel who was
different from the rest, which is Christ coming there in Holy
Spirit, in His theophanic Body, here in this cloud; and at the Last
Day, He will come manifested in human flesh in His AngelMessenger, operating the ministries of Moses for the second
time, Elijah for the fifth time, and Jesus for the second time.
Now, notice how the Two Olive Trees are those two
great ministries of Moses and Elijah that will be manifested at
the Last Day in the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ as a blessing
to all of God’s sons and daughters. Those are the Son of man’s
eyes as a flame of fire; those are the Son of man’s feet of fine
brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and those are the Two Olive
Trees, and also the Son of man’s two arms and hands; because
those are the ministries pertaining to this end time.
And notice how here the forerunner of the SecondJEHOVAH-NISSI 17
Coming of Christ continues to narrate to us everything about
these angels, and especially the Angel who was different from
the rest, which was the most notable to him. Why? Let’s see
why. He says:
“…They were in a constellation; three on a side, and one
on top. And the one right next to me here, counting from the left
to the right, would have been the seventh Angel. He was
brighter, meant more to me than the rest of Them. You
remember? I said, ‘He had His chest out, like that, and was
flying eastward’ (you remember) ‘like that.’”
Why? Because that typifies that His Message is a
Message from West to East, meaning, from the West going
towards the East. His Message starts in the West, in the
continent of the Americans, and It will go all the way to the East,
to the land of Israel, to the Hebrew people.
“I said, ‘It picked me up; lifted me up…’”
Which one of those angels was the one who picked up,
lifted up Brother Branham and took him to that constellation
they formed? It was the Angel who was different from the rest.
“Here It is, the one with the Seventh Seal…”
And the Seventh Seal is the Second Coming of Christ,
the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant in human flesh at the
Last Day. And in order to fulfill the Seventh Seal, well, He must
come veiled in human flesh at the Last Day in His AngelMessenger.
But His Angel-Messenger is not the Lord Jesus Christ;
he is only His Messenger, His Prophet-Messenger of the Age of
the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the
Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
But the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord,
which is the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and who
was made flesh two thousand years ago and lived among the
Hebrew people in human flesh, and was known by the Name of
Jesus: that Angel of the Covenant is the One who comes
manifested in human flesh at the Last Day, and brings His Last
Message, the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet, also18 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
represented in the seven thunders of Revelation chapter 10;
because He is the One who comes down from Heaven clothed
with a cloud, with a rainbow upon His head, and with His eyes
as a flame of fire, and setting one foot, His right foot, upon the
sea, and His left foot on the Earth…
Remember that the feet represent the ministries of Moses
and Elijah; those ministries are set on the Earth: upon the waters,
upon the sea (which represents peoples, nations, and tongues),
and the left foot is set on the Earth.
Now, notice, the Latin American and Caribbean
continent is the continent that has that blessing at the Last Day.
And now, Latin America and the Caribbean is the place blessed
by God: that has the promise of the Coming of the Angel of the
Covenant.
Now, notice that this Angel is the One with the Seventh
Seal.
“…The thing that I’ve wondered all my life. Amen! Them
other Seals meant a lot to me, of course, but, oh, you don’t know
what This has meant.”
Now, notice that the Seventh Seal is the Coming of the
Lord, the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant; It is the Coming
of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Holy Spirit, coming
incarnate in a Man of the Last Day, in His Angel-Messenger, and
manifested through His Angel-Messenger, making known to us
all these things which must shortly come to pass at this end time,
in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
That is where He comes, because He comes to His Church first,
and then to the Hebrew people.
On pages 549 to 550 [paragraph 304] of the Book The
Revelation Of The Seven Seals, the forerunner of the Second
Coming of Christ, Rev. William Branham, says:
“Notice now, for the end-of-time Message, this Seal,”
(meaning, the Seventh Seal). “After all, He—He has revealed all
the six Seals, but He don’t say nothing about the Seventh. And
the end-time Seal, when It starts,” (or when It begins), “will be
absolutely a total secret, according to the Bible.”JEHOVAH-NISSI 19
The Seventh Seal, when It starts—in other words, the
Coming of the Mighty Angel, the Coming of the Angel of the
Covenant, the Second Coming of Christ, when It starts, will be a
total secret.
When the First Coming of Christ started, two thousand
years ago, it was a secret to many people, the majority of Israel’s
inhabitants—although God had shed a lot of Light on the First
Coming of Christ:
He had given many prophecies that were very clear, from
which the people could know that the First Coming of Christ
would be fulfilled through a virgin, of whom the Messiah would
be born;7 and that was according to what God said in Genesis
would be the woman’s Seed,8 therefore, He would come through
a woman; and He would be a Person who would be born in
Bethlehem of Judea,9 therefore, He would be a descendant of
King David, a descendant of Jesse (King David’s father);10 and
that descendant would come from the lineage of King David, by
being born of a woman who was a descendant of King David.
So, Mary was a descendant of King David; she was a princess,
even though she was poor.
And now, Joseph, whom Mary was espoused to
(although Joseph* had nothing to do with Christ and His birth,
rather, he became the adoptive father of Jesus), Joseph was also
a descendant of King David; he was a prince, even though he
was poor and he was a humble carpenter from Nazareth.
For the birth of the Messiah, they had to leave Nazareth
and go to Bethlehem of Judea, not because they wanted to go
there, but because there was a census and it was mandatory for
every person to go to the city he was from; and since Joseph and
Mary were descendants of King David, they had to go to
Bethlehem of Judea, where King David was from, to be
7 Isaiah 7:14
8 Genesis 3:15
9 Micah 5:2
10 Isaiah 11:120 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
registered [taxed] in the census there;11 and while they were
there, it was time for Mary to give birth; and she gave birth in
Bethlehem of Judea.
Notice how God works, even when conditions are
unfavorable—because first they lived in Nazareth, and it was
already the month that she had to give birth; but, notice, there
was a census; and God worked in that, for that census to be
carried out, so that Mary (along with Joseph) would go to
Bethlehem of Judea and the birth of Jesus would be fulfilled
there.
And now, they already had the Name that they were
going to give the child as well: Jesus, which means “Redeemer”
or “Savior” (in Hebrew Yoshua or Yeshua or Yashua).
And now, notice how everything was fulfilled; and there,
in that veil of flesh, was the fulfillment of the Coming of the
Angel of the Lord, of the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant,
which is the First Coming of Christ. The God of Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob, made Man, made flesh among the Hebrew people in
the form of a Prophet; because He had to be a prophet.
Just like the first Adam was a prophet, the second Adam
also had to be a Prophet; and the first Adam was a dispensational
prophet, and the second Adam was also a dispensational
Prophet.
But notice, very few people knew that the birth of the
Messiah was being fulfilled in Bethlehem of Judea, except for
those people who were foretold by the Archangel Gabriel and his
Army: a group of shepherds to whom the Archangel Gabriel
came with his Army, singing (those heavenly hosts were
singing) and sharing the good news, the good tidings, of the birth
of the Messiah.12
And Elisabeth and Zacharias also knew that the Messiah
would be born on Earth, and they knew that He was in the virgin
Mary’s womb; and Joseph and Mary also knew that the Messiah
11 Luke 2:1-7
12 Luke 2:8-14JEHOVAH-NISSI 21
would be born on Earth. But notice, He was born on Earth and
the Hebrew people did not know that He had been born on Earth
during those days; even though the sign of the First Coming of
the Son of man was in heaven, that star called “the Star of
Bethlehem” had been appearing for two years, which Balaam
had also prophesied about saying that there would come a Star
out of Jacob; we find that prophecy in the Book of Numbers.
And notice how there would come a Star out of Jacob:
Numbers 24, verse 17; and in Saint Matthew chapter 2, verse 1
to 12, we also have the story of the appearance of that star, it was
appearing in heaven for about two years, testifying that the
Messiah was already on Earth.
When the sign of the Son of man appeared in heaven for
His First Coming, the Messiah was already on Earth; and God
was testifying in heaven or in the sky what He was fulfilling on
Earth. The wise men followed that heavenly sign, that sign in the
sky; because when God is going to do something on Earth, He
shows it in heaven.
That is why He said that signs would be seen in the
heavens;13 and it is important to understand what those signs in
heaven mean, and to see them, to see those things being fulfilled
on Earth.
And now, the sign of the Son of man in heaven for His
First Coming was seen; but many people who saw that sign in
heaven—if they looked up at the sky and saw that sign—did not
understand the meaning of that star in sky.
And since there many stars in the sky, well, poets may
have said or spoken very beautiful things about that star; but the
wise men, who knew that prophecy of the Coming of the
Messiah, since that sign of the Coming of the Messiah was being
seen in heaven, they asked in Jerusalem: “Where is he that is
born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east…”
They lived over in the East, around Chaldea, around
Babylon, and they came looking for the Messiah because they
13 Psalm 19:122 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
saw that sign in heaven; they travelled from the East to the West
in search of the Messiah, and they found Him.
And the one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews
will be seeing the Coming of the Messiah (them) going from the
East to the West, because the manifestation of the Son of man on
Earth at the Last Day will be in the West. “As the lighting comes
out of the East and shines (where?) in the West,”14 in the West,
which is the continent of the Americas.
The continent of the Americas consist of North America,
Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. In North
America, the seventh Gentile Church age was already fulfilled,
and now all that’s left is Central America, South America, and
the Caribbean for the fulfillment of the Coming of the Son of
man as the lighting shining in the West.
And now, it is the Coming of the Angel who was
different from the rest, in human flesh at the Last Day; just like
He came two thousand years ago in human flesh and only a
group of people, who we can count on both hands, knew that the
Messiah had been born in Bethlehem of Judea. The wise men
found Him because they were looking for the Messiah according
to the sign that was in heaven, and they found Him. Then, when
He was presented in the temple, Simeon and Anna recognized
Him as well.15
In other words, very few people knew of the Coming of
the Messiah in those days: the shepherds, who went and found
Him on the day of His birth or the night of His birth; the wise
men, who found Him when He was already about two years old
(because He was in a house then, He was not in the manger, and
they said that the star had been appearing in heaven for two
years already); and Simeon and Anna…
In other words, Simeon and Anna: two people; Joseph
and Mary: two more, that’s four; Zacharias and Elisabeth, that’s
six; the wise men (people say there were three, but we don’t
14 Matthew 24:27
15 Luke 2:21-38JEHOVAH-NISSI 23
know the real number; but let’s say there were three). That
would be, how many? Nine. And the shepherds, which we don’t
know how many of them there were.
The shepherds who what? Who were what? Keeping the
night watches; the shepherds, who were keeping the night
watches, which represent the shepherds of the mystical Body of
Christ, who would be keeping the night watches. [Dr. Soto
points to the pyramid diagram “The Stature Of A Perfect
Man”—Ed.] And those who will be keeping the night watches at
the Last Day, in the fourth watch, are the ones who will see the
Coming and will see the fulfillment of His Coming; because the
Angel told them to go find the Messiah, to see Him in a manger
wrapped in swaddling clothes.
And now, at this end time there will also be shepherds of
sheep of the Fold of Christ, who are blessed: who will see the
fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ.
One born in Bethlehem of Judea was the fulfillment of
the First Coming of Christ!
And now, Bethlehem is the House of God’s Bread and
Christ is the House of God’s Bread. And all those who believe in
Christ as our Savior, and wash away their sins in the Blood of
Christ, and receive His Holy Spirit, have been born again, have
been born in Christ, in the House of God’s Bread; they have
been born in Bethlehem, in Bethlehem materialized, in Jesus
Christ, because He is the House of God’s Bread.
And also the Church, which is born of the Spirit of
Christ, which was born on the Day of Pentecost: by being born
in Christ, being born of the Holy Spirit, She is also the
Bethlehem materialized as a mystical Body of believers.
And that is why all those who are born in Christ have
been born in Bethlehem, and all those who are born in Christ
have been born in the Church of Jesus Christ, which is His
Church, His Temple, and which is the spiritual Bethlehem as a
mystical Body of believers; because the House of God’s Bread is
where He has put Christ, the Bread of God, and where God’s
bread is given out from age to age.24 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
That is why we have the parable of Christ about the
faithful and wise servants; and in Saint Matthew chapter 24,
verse 42 and on, it says the following (and I want to read that
passage, which is very important), it says:
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord
doth come,” (meaning, His Second Coming).
“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had
known in what watch the thief would come, he would have
watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye
think not the Son of man cometh.”
In which hour? In which hour of the [night] watches?
Throughout all seven stages or ages of the Gentile
Church, people did not know if it was at evening, or at midnight,
or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning; there we have the four
watches.
The first watch starts from nine to twelve at night, and it
lasts three hours: from nine to ten, that’s one; from ten to eleven,
that’s two hours; and from eleven to twelve, that’s three hours.
Each watch consists of three hours.
And the first was from nine to twelve at night (that is the
first watch out of the four watches), and the second is from
twelve to three in the morning, and the third is from three in the
morning to six in the morning (that is the watch where the
cockcrowing is heard)...
That is why (let’s see) in… let’s see Saint Mark and
Saint Luke, it should be in one of those two… Saint Mark
chapter 13, verses 34 to 37, says:
“For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey,
who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to
every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.”
In other words, Christ was taking a far journey, to the
House of our Heavenly Father; but He left His servants in His
House, and He gave authority to His servants: those are the
angel-messengers of each stage.
“...And commanded the porter to watch.JEHOVAH-NISSI 25
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of
the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the
cockcrowing,” (see? The cockcrowing falls on the third watch),
“or in the morning…”
The morning is the fourth watch, because the fourth
watch is from six to nine in the morning. It is the only watch that
takes place in the day, it’s in the morning; the other watches are
at night. And the three watches that pertain to the night, pertain
to the seven Gentile Church ages.
Those seven Gentile Church ages are contained in those
three watches that there are from nine at night to six in the
morning; but the Age of the Cornerstone is contained in the
fourth watch, which pertains to the time or the hours of six to
nine in the morning.
And the fourth watch is when the Son of man comes, and
the fourth watch is when the saints are called and gathered
together with the Great Voice of Trumpet, and when we receive
the faith to be changed and raptured, and when the dead in Christ
will be raised in eternal bodies, and when we who are alive will
be changed; and when all of us—already in the new body—will
be caught up to Heaven and taken to the Marriage Supper of the
Lamb, to the House of our Heavenly Father.
Now can you see why, in prophetic words, when the
forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ was talking about the
watches, he said that the Church goes up, She is caught up, in
the morning, from six to nine in the morning?16 Because that is
the fourth watch.
And if we would also be literally caught up to Heaven
some morning, well, that is according to the prophecies. But the
most important part there is the fourth watch, which pertains to
the hours of six to nine in the morning, when the Church of
Jesus Christ goes up to the Age of the Cornerstone; that is a
rapture or catching away of the Church of Jesus Christ in the
spiritual realm.
16 ENG65-1204 “The Rapture,” pages 23-24, paragraph 12726 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
And those who will be part of that spiritual catching
away, in the Age of the Cornerstone, are the ones who have the
promise to be changed and raptured and taken to the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb with Christ, in the new body, once we
receive it and the dead in Christ have risen in their new body, an
eternal, glorified body just like the Body of our beloved Lord
Jesus Christ.
Now notice, no one knew in which hour of the four
watches, no one knew in which hour of those four watches the
Son of man would come.
And now, one day before the Lord is like a thousand
years before God—one day before the Lord is like a thousand
years to human beings.17 In other words, when God refers to one
day before Him, to human beings that is a thousand years, in
other words, a millennial day, a millennium; and He tells us
about the Last Days, and to human beings those are the last
millenniums: the fifth, sixth, and seventh millennium.
The Last Days began in the days of Jesus, when Jesus
was four to seven years old, when the fifth millennium began,
which is the first of the Last Days before God; that is the
millennium, the first of the last millenniums. And two thousand
years have already passed since Christ (in other words, two
millenniums), and only two days have passed before God; two
days to God, which are two thousand years to human beings.
And all that’s left is the Last Day before God, which is the last
millennium to human beings, which is the seventh millennium;
for which Christ said, referring to His believers, in chapter 6 of
Saint John, verse 40. He says:
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one
which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting
life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
When does Christ say that He will raise him up? At the
Last Day, the Last Day before God, which is the last millennium,
meaning, the seventh millennium; that is the Lord’s Day. Just
17 2 Peter 3:8; Psalm 90:4JEHOVAH-NISSI 27
like for the Hebrew people the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day, now
the seventh millennium is the Last Day before God and it is the
Sabbath before God as a millennial day.
That is why there are great promises of peace, rest, and
prosperity for the Earth in the seventh millennium, in other
words, at the Last Day, when Christ will establish the Kingdom
of God on Earth under the rule of Christ, the Messiah, sitting on
the Throne of David, which He is heir to.
The Archangel Gabriel told the virgin Mary that the child
she would have would be the One to sit on the Throne of David.
Saint Luke chapter 1, verse 30 and on, says:
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou
hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring
forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the
Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his
father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and
of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Who will sit on the Throne of David? Christ.
And now, in His First Coming He did not sit on the
Throne of David because He came in His First Coming to do
what? To carry out His Work of Redemption on Calvary’s
Cross; but in His Second Coming, He comes as King of kings
and Lord of lords: on His thigh and on His vesture He has
written: King of kings and Lord of lords; therefore, He comes
with His Name as King to rule over the Hebrew people and over
all nations.
And it is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the
Lord, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, who comes manifested at the
Last Day; and for that manifestation, He will have a new age: the
Age of the Cornerstone; and a new dispensation: the
Dispensation of the Kingdom; and a new dispensational
Messenger: the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ; and a new28 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
dispensational Message: the Message of the Gospel the
Kingdom; and a new Name: the Eternal Name of God, which is
the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, notice all the new things He will have, to
manifest them at the Last Day in order to carry out the Work
pertaining to the Last Day.
And now, notice, regarding the faithful and wise
servants, in the different ages, He has put a faithful and wise
servant in each age to give the spiritual Food of the Word of God
to all the children of God, to all the members of the Church of
Jesus Christ; because “man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”18
Therefore, out of the mouth of God for each age (the
messenger of each age, who was the mouth of God for each age)
came the Word of God for each one of those ages. And in the
Age of the Cornerstone, the Word of God comes out of where?
Out of the mouth of God, out of the Angel-Messenger of the
Lord Jesus Christ; and that is also the two-edged Sword that
comes out of His mouth: It is the Word of God, the spiritual
Food for the soul of all of God’s elect.
Now, it goes on to say in [Saint Matthew] chapter 24,
verse 44 and on… It goes on to say:
“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye
think not the Son of man cometh.”
And now, notice, in the hour that no one thought.
In which of the hours of those four watches?
In the first hour, they were expecting Him, but He did not
come. In the second hour of the first watch, they were expecting
Him, but He did not come—although He came in Holy Spirit in
the firstfruits of the Spirit, but in terms of the fulfillment of the
Second Coming of Christ, He did not come manifested that way.
And they were expecting Him in the third hour of the first watch,
and He did not come either; because He was carrying out a Work
from age to age, calling and gathering His elect through the
18 Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3JEHOVAH-NISSI 29
messenger of each age; He was manifested in Holy Spirit
in each age, in the messenger of each age, in the portion
pertaining to each age, as the firstfruits of the Spirit for each
age.
Now, it says [Matthew 24:45]:
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord
hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due
season?”
Now He asks which that servant is.
In the first age, it was Saint Paul; in the second, it was
Irenaeus; in the third, it was Martin; in the fourth, it was
Columba; in the fifth, Luther; in the sixth, Wesley; and in the
seventh, Rev. William Branham.
And now, who is the Faithful and Wise Servant, whom
his Lord has made ruler over His Household in the Age of the
Cornerstone? Well, it is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And if the Second Coming of Christ was not fulfilled in
any of these stages or ages, where there was the angel-messenger
of each age, the faithful and wise servant of each age, then His
Second Coming is to be fulfilled (where?) in the Age of the
Cornerstone.
And in the Age of the Cornerstone, in the fourth watch,
which is in the daytime, when the morning part of the day
begins: the morning of the seventh millennium begins, of the
seventh millennial Day, which is the seventh millennium, of
which Christ said: “...And I will raise him up at the last day.”
And just as the resurrection of Jesus Christ was on
Sunday morning, as well as the resurrection of those who rose
with Him, they rose with Him on Easter Sunday, in the fourth
watch: and now, the resurrection of the dead in Christ will be at
the Last Day (in other words, in the seventh millennium), in the
Age of the Cornerstone.
The Age of the Cornerstone is the eighth age, because
eight represents eternity; and that is why Sunday represents
eternity; and that is why Christ rose on Sunday, on the eighth
day, which is also the first day of a new week.30 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
And now, in the seventh millennium, in the morning of
the seventh millennium and in the morning of the Age of the
Cornerstone, is when these promises have to be fulfilled.
Now, if one day before the Lord is like a thousand years,
then how long is one hour? If one day is a thousand years (one
day before the Lord is a thousand years to human beings), and
there are twenty-four hours in a day: when we divide a thousand
years by twenty-four hours, that gives us how many years?
Forty-one years and eight months; that is one hour before God
according to this Divine rule that one day before the Lord is like
a thousand years, this prophetic table.
This is the same prophetic table used in these watches.
And these hours of these watches, which Christ asks about and
says that no man knows the hour that the Son of man will come;
He is referring to these hours of the watches, regarding the fact
that a day before the Lord is like a thousand years to human
beings.
And if one hour before the Lord is forty-one years and
eight months, then all three hours of the fourth watch of the Last
Day, of the seventh millennium… the first three hours of the
seventh millennium are… those first three hours before God (of
the Last Day) are one hundred and twenty-five years to human
beings; because forty-one years and eight months, multiplied by
three, gives us one hundred and twenty-five years. That is the
fourth watch of the Last Day and at the Last Day. And that is the
Divine Cycle in which all these promises, promised by Christ for
the Last Day, must be fulfilled: in those first one hundred and
twenty-five years of the seventh millennium.
Now, the calendar that is currently used, the Gregorian
calendar, indicates that it is August 30, 1998; and there are two
years and four months left until the end of the 20th century, and
until the end to the sixth millennium too, and then until the
beginning of the seventh millennium, and the beginning of the
21st century; but the calendar is behind.
But could God’s calendar have fallen behind? I don’t
believe so. Even if the human being’s calendar has fallen behind,JEHOVAH-NISSI 31
God’s has not fallen behind.
The Gregorian calendar has three hundred and sixty-five
and a quarter days [365¼] each year. The calendar that God uses
in the prophecies of Daniel and in the prophecy of Revelation
consists of three hundred and sixty days. That is why the amount
mentioned in Revelation chapter 11, which pertains to the time
of the Great Tribulation… and the Great Tribulation, will be
three and a half years long.
The seventieth week and the seventy weeks of Daniel’s
prophecy19 are seventy weeks or sabbaths of years; in other
words, each week is made up of seven years, and seven times
seventy is four hundred and ninety years; in other words, those
seventy weeks of the prophecy of Daniel are four hundred and
ninety years.
And when the Messiah was to come to Earth and have
His ministry, they would be living in the seventieth week; and
that is why when Jesus began His ministry and then finished it,
half of that seventieth week was fulfilled, because the Messiah
would be cut off in the midst of the week;20 and that is what
happened when Christ died on Calvary’s Cross.
And what happened to the rest of that seventieth week,
the other three and a half years?
That calendar of the seventy weeks stopped there, that
Program of the seventy weeks stopped, without the second part
of the seventieth week being fulfilled; in other words, there are
three and a half years left for God to deal with the Hebrew
people and confirm the Covenant to the Hebrew people. Those
are the three and a half years of the Great Tribulation, where
God will turn to the Hebrew people; and the Hebrew people will
receive Christ in His Second Coming, the Hebrew people as a
nation will receive that blessing: one hundred and forty-four
thousand Hebrews will receive Him.
Now, notice the reason why Christianity has tried to
19 Daniel 9:20-25
20 Daniel 9:26-2732 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
convert the Hebrew people to Christ (as a nation) and has not
been able to: why? Because the Hebrew people will be converted
to Christ at the time when God will confirm the Covenant to the
Hebrew people.
And now, for that to happen, God must finish dealing
with the Gentile people, with the Gentiles, to deal with the
Hebrew people. God stopped dealing with the Hebrew people
(He stopped in the middle of that week) and started to deal with
the Gentile people; but God has those three and a half years
reserved for the Hebrew people, to deal with them during that
time of the Great Tribulation.
Now, notice, in Revelation chapter 11, verse 3 and on, it
says:
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they
shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days,
clothed in sackcloth.”
And a thousand two hundred and threescore [sixty] days
are three and a half years, with thirty days in each month and
three hundred and sixty days in each year; and that is how that
time period of a thousand two hundred and threescore days
equals three and a half years.
Now, we are a few years behind in our calendar, and if
we added them to the calendar, we would find ourselves (let’s
say) between the year 2020 and 2030, more or less. In other
words, we would be in the first third of the 21st century and we
would be in the first hour of the Last Day before God, which
is—the first hour of the Last Day before God is the first fortyone years and eight months. And notice how far along the
calendar would be if we added to the calendar the years it is
behind.
And at the Last Day, in the fourth watch of the Last Day,
these prophecies of the Coming of the Mighty Angel, the Angel
of the Covenant, who is Jesus Christ coming in His theophanic
Body and veiling Himself in human flesh in His AngelMessenger; in the fourth watch of the Last Day, of the seventh
millennium, that promise must be fulfilled.JEHOVAH-NISSI 33
And now, that is in the Age of the Cornerstone, which
pertains to the Last Day and pertains to the fourth watch.
And at this end time… Notice, just as there was a faithful
and wise servant in each of the ages of the Gentile Church
giving all of God’s sons and daughters the spiritual Food in due
season, likewise, at this end time, there must be a Faithful and
Wise Servant in the Age of the Cornerstone giving the spiritual
Food to all of God’s sons and daughters who come up to the Age
of the Cornerstone, where the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, the
Angel of the Covenant, would be at this end time, calling and
gathering together all His elect with the Great Voice of Trumpet
of the Gospel of the Kingdom: through His Angel-Messenger.
And now, Christ asks [Matthew 24:45-46]:
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord
hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due
season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh
shall find so doing.”
Whom his Lord, when He comes in His Second Coming
(when the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, comes,
in the fourth watch, in the Age of the Cornerstone): blessed will
be the Faithful and Wise Servant who will be here, giving the
Food of the Word of God to God’s children in due season;
giving them the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which
is the Message that pertains to the Last Day, to the seventh
dispensation, to the seventh millennium, and to the Age of the
Cornerstone.
That is the Message that revolves around the Second
Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of
kings and Lord of lords, in His Claiming Work. That is the
Message that revolves around this Angel who is different from
the rest, who comes at the Last Day veiled and revealed in
human flesh in His Angel-Messenger.
And the Faithful and Wise Servant who will be present at
the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of
the Kingdom, in the fourth watch of the Last Day before God34 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
(which is the cycle of one hundred and twenty-five years, the
first one hundred and twenty-five years of the seventh
millennium), that Faithful and Wise Servant who will be there,
feeding God’s sons and daughters the Divine Revelation of the
Coming of the Mighty Angel who comes down from Heaven
clothed with a cloud, the Coming of that Mighty Angel who
comes down from Heaven then coming to Earth, and
manifesting Himself, veiling Himself in human flesh,
and—through human flesh—revealing Himself to His Church
and giving them this spiritual Food: that Faithful and Wise
Servant who will be giving that spiritual Food at this end time
will be the Faithful and Wise Servant mentioned here.
And now it says… And he will be blessed. It says:
“Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh
shall find so doing.”
Now, in that blessing, let’s see the blessings he will have:
“Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over
all his goods.”
In Saint Luke it says that these faithful and wise servants
are stewards; they were the stewards who administered their
Lord’s goods (each one in his age).21
And now, this Faithful and Wise Servant is called the
Steward of the Last Day—of His Lord’s goods, in the Church of
Jesus Christ; and it says that He will make him ruler over all His
goods.22 He will make him ruler over all His goods, and that
refers to a very important administrative position in the glorious
Millennial Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
That is also why He says: “To him that overcometh will I
grant to sit with Me in My Throne, even as I also overcame, and
am set down with My Father in His Throne.”23
Christ sat with His Father in His Throne in Heaven when
He overcame and ascended victorious to Heaven; and there, He
21 Luke 12:35-40
22 Luke 12:42-44
23 Revelation 3:21JEHOVAH-NISSI 35
received a new Name, upon sitting with His Father in His
Throne, the Throne of God in Heaven.
And now, Christ has a Throne here on Earth, and that is
the Throne of David.
And now, the same thing that Christ received when He
ascended to Heaven victorious and sat at the right hand of God:
sat on the Throne of God in Heaven and received a new Name,
received power in Heaven and on Earth—now Christ does the
same thing with His Faithful and Wise Servant, who at the Last
Day will be giving the spiritual Food to all the children of God
in the Household of God, in the Age of the Cornerstone.
In other words, what Christ does is the same thing the
Father did with Him in Heaven. And that is why Christ has been
administering our Heavenly Father’s business, in Heaven and
also on Earth; but now He will be on Earth, on the Throne of
David, because that is His Throne, the Throne of Jesus Christ;
and now He says that He will sit on His Throne, and seat the
Overcomer with Him on His Throne. That is this AngelMessenger of Jesus Christ of the Last Day. It says:
“Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler
over all that he hath.”
That is the same Servant of whom He says: “And he that
overcometh...” what I quoted you about the Throne of Christ;
that is in Revelation chapter 3, verse 21.
And Revelation chapter 2, verses 26 to 27, says:
“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the
end, to him will I give power over the nations:
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels
of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of
my Father.”
Notice, the same power that He received from the Father
in Heaven and on Earth (in other words, authority over the
Heavens and the Earth)... now Christ gives the Overcomer
power over all the Earth, over every people, nation, and tongue.
“...And he shall rule them,” (in other words, he shall
govern them), “with a rod of iron…”36 DR. WILLIAM SOTO SANTIAGO
And now, notice:
“...As the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to
shivers: even as I received of my Father.”
In other words, any nation that has to be broken, broken
to pieces, will be broken.
Now, let’s also see in Revelation chapter 2, verse 17,
where it says:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of
the hidden manna…”
That is the revelation of Jesus Christ for the seventh
millennium and for all eternity: the revelation of the Second
Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
